Description
The most recent version of ACE3, without any of the crap that comes with it. Removed: Medical, Zeroing, GForces, NVG Effects, Wind Effects and Fatigue.

The Ace G-Forces is up to like 10.5 or something and -4.5 for pilot characters, right?. You'd have an aneurysm before -4.5. That's nuts, and I've barely gotten much blackout and have never gotten red-out in Arma. Biggest problem with the planes besides (in my opinion a lack of) G-forces stuff is they often seem to want to nose into the ground and there's no trim.

Well, that and all the aircraft's main weapon systems seem really really odd. Too multiplayer-oriented for my taste.

I'm increasingly thinking Arma has some really bad AI, too.

And my goodness, I said 'their' instead of they're. My bad.

I also got rid of all the NVG effects except shutter. And to think some missions are implementing it themselves. Arma already has grain. I just add the amber filter from that one dude's mod. Oh, and brightness adjustment. And BettIR. The combo allows me to tweak my other visual settings for thermals and make NVG dark, but not totally useless if I do it right.

I notice the vanilla zeroing is impossible in the horizontal, which is odd. I've been doing that too lately, and basically 2km is extremely difficult that way. Still, I don't have a spotter so I don't want to be bothered with pre-zeroing baseline at a range, doing trig, and then a range chart.

@Reticuli This mod was made for me and my group specifically so, it has been tapered to our liking. Advanced ballistics remains intact, only ACE Zeroing has been removed so we can use the Vanilla arma zeroing. On the note of G-Force effects, ACE makes it waaay too sensitive. Coming from DCS (A Fighter Jet Simulator) you can see a stark difference in G-Tolerance. That is why we removed it, also with Arma not having a "Full Range" mode for HOTAS throttle systems, it makes holding a suitable airspeed harder therefore, really low G-Tolerance makes ACE G-Forces annoying.

@shadowhunter388 There may be something in the ACE settings that allows you to make the AI more aggressive. I have been using a danger.fsm mod to enhance the AI, and it has made them very aggressive.

What exactly is left that you actually want to keep? And is advanced ballistics still active just with the old zeroing that doesn't help in the horizontal? Not sure why anyone would want to get rid of the G-force effects, by the way. Their too weak, especially in the negative.

Out of curosity, do you know if ACE affects AI? I notice with running ACE, AI seems to react different and is less "charging at you" and more "Running away from you". Not specifically with your mod but with ACE in general, does this change that too? I like the Vanilla AI reaction better.

Nah, seriously. You're thinking "haha guy is being obnoxious" but I find myself in Terrains a LOT, and it's REALLY annoying when I have to sift through pages of stuff that has nothing to do with terrains or terrain assets just because someone was being lazy.

At best, you'll annoy people. At worst, you'll piss them off. Just tag your stuff right, for the love of all that is holy.
