The Road to Devastation Spring

Description
Both sides have dug in. The Soviets have established a railway, and the Germans have paved an Airfield. Critical mass approaches, in this onslaught engineered to provide maximum devastation. Recommended to be played either VS expert AI or PVP, and on Annihilation Mode. Victory Point Compatible. Vehicles are detoured, while infantry can cut through.

Update is out, haven't been able to test it though, let me know if there is any issues.
Also adjusted starting locations to fit for american bases.

-Day/Night Cycle Removed, Day only.
-German base reworked as an Airfield.
-Soviet base reworked as a railway stop.
-Starting Bunkers have been relocated to the base.
-Some of the territories are now connected, and no longer require to be connection in series.
-Victory Points are relocated.
-Some of the Territories have been redrawn.
-Additional ramps for infantry, and AT gun access.
-Medic Point's added.
-Cover added.
-Additional detailing.
-Updated mini maps to reflect changes.
Known Issues:
-AI loiters. Eventually, they will move. Sometimes I wonder if this is intentional, to protect territory.

Update May 5, 2014. I've brought over many of the changes from my testbuild. I stamped over to a larger terrain, to get better OOB detail range, although many of the OOB details are not there yet. Some major gameplay changes have been added, such as changes in the way terretories are connected. Vehicles are still restricted to the long way around, but infantry and AT guns should have almost free range. I've also changed some of the base details, adding in a runway for germans, and a railway for soviets. I will hopefully have a complete enough version by friday for the contests deadline, but outlook is grim. Thanks for visiting and trying my map!

Thank you for trying the map, and the feedback! The AI is a known issue, they aren't so bad when set to hard or expert, but they fail to work on this map, when set lower.

You refer to not being able to move to any point, can you elaborate on this? Infantry has access at several places that bypass the road, but vehicles are limited. I chose this route, because I feel the game forces you to play end game as fast as possible, leaving no oppertunity to dig in.

I have been considering adjusting the atmosphere transitions. Once again, thank you for playing, if you happen to still have a replay, that would be awesome.

we just tried this map , used the ai for a 3rd, it built a large army that bunched up in it's base and didn't move. the long winding road took forever to move my army, at one point it took my tank somewhere around 10 minutes to go from my base to the enemy's base and limted the fighting to the road only. For me the long travel times and the inability to move to any point was frustrating and i feel it really hurt the gameplay, the night day rotation of 4 hours is much to long. I appericate the work went into making of this map .

Update: I've added some OOB objects, but still minimal. I've changed the atmosphere settings again, to a day/night cycle every hour, for 4 hours.

Art Pass Update: Map contest version. Changed/Added additional victory point (replaced the middle resource point), Pop Cap 200, Updated Mini Map, Finished first pass of splat detail. Still updates to come, but much closer on textures...ect. Still need OOB objects. Updates to come soon...
