" The Sentinel Light Carrier is a security and mild fighter support craft, being able to field at least a full squadron of fighters or several squadrons of small sized, midget-piloted fighters and also being armoured and shielded enough to take on a direct combat role. Primarily intended to provide protection to sectors and convoys, it is also used by insecure civilian captains who want to brag that they command an aircraft carrier used by several small mining companies as a rather pricey fighter-dependant mining vessel. "
