Tried it...seems to be getting worse and worse.
i played before offworld took over. things seemed better then. recoil was better.

While the game does have bugs, but what game dosent? and Cosmetic DLC (not gamepires fault. blame Jagx for that) i would absoley recommend this. blows DAYZ out of the water. i have bought every dlc to support gamepires to continue to make this great game

I started with DAYZ and i will never go back because of how good scum is. the devs seem to be really trying and caring what they are making here. the sounds. graphics and gameplay are so much better than dayz. the medical is in depth. and theres a variety of biomes.

with the 1.0 full release coming out soon, i look forward to this even more. quests and NPC characters.

Will never forgive this company for making it cross play.

they should have made 2 versions, one for PCVR. and one for Quest..not merging it into one

Updating my review:

1.0 dropped. and the price tag raised....yeah..no..not worth it.

they had 2 whole years to do 1.0 and you would think NPCs. should get voice acting, nope.
also going into conversations with NPCs results in screen shaking.

the game is super confusing and im not even sure whats going on half the time. its a slog fest

its a great game. has alot going for it.
BUT in its current state. the optimisation and fps is awful....like...really. really. bad.
if it gets updated and optimised. sure. get it. if it dosent. dont bother

the game is stuttery and an fps muncher.

i really have high hopes for this game. and i really do hope it will be fixed soon
i refunded my game due to how awful the frame rate was and how stuttery it is.

but heres the thing: if its not fixed by the 27th of january 2023. i feel like this game will be forgoten. as the dead space remake comes out then. and the worst part is that the Callisto protocol was made by the dudes who made dead space. i expected better from this company as they were a large part of my teen years. so seeing a game with so much potential. beautiful graphics and from what i hear a good story. go to waste because they dont know how to optimise makes me sad. i waited for months for this game to come out but yet here we are. its a cyberpunk all over again. awful optimisation and issues.

If you want to buy it now. your going to have the same issues i outline above.
id suggest wait for a while. see how it goes.
