Pretty good. Longer than I expected. More time without a second portal than I expected, but good nonetheless

Early Access Review
Here is my review for the game as it stands on March 8th, 2023 and I will update as it gets updates.
CONS:
1) The map is too big. You do have the powered zip-line and sled options, but the sled is impossible to control and the zip-line is costly to always use. It takes forever to get around as is. The distribution of points of interest is bad. This creates a lot of dead space with no purpose other than to kill time between objectives.
2) The foliage is too dense. I constantly am harassed by muddies which wouldn't be so bad if they weren't always obscured by bushes. I do like that they can hide from you behind trees and such, but they could not even be trying to hide and still be impossible to see.
3) The caves have way too many enemies. These caves are way scarier than its predecessor (which I enjoy), but connecting tunnels will have 8 enemies that run away from bombs and then immediately block the path again. It just seems like adding extra enemies is compensating for the lack of loot in the caves as is.
4) Crafting menu turning. It took a second for me to realize that you could turn in the crafting menu (which was fine), but the turning speed is so slow. I'd like an option to make this snappier. Otherwise, it feels like I'm dragging my mouse through mud.
PROS:
1) The enemy diversity is so much better than The Forest! I'm constantly finding new mutants with interesting attack patterns that keep the game fresh. This also offers more creepy armor which was lacking in the original.
2) Kelvin. I could stop there seeing as so many people have a lot to say, but here is why I like him. Gathering logs goes so much faster. His face is so cute. I can dress him up. The only improvement I would like is the ability to ask him to finish building a blueprint.
3) Building. The ability to put down individual logs completely changes the building system for the better. Splitting logs makes the game feel more like a survival game.
4) The inventory and crafting menu. Actually building your recipes in the crafting menu is something I didn't know I needed. The animations add to the experience and immerse me.

It's always nice to be humbled knowing that you can't solve puzzles and spend 2 hours on one level

Best Fallout game I've played! Love the leveling system, interactions with NPCs, and variety of faction routes available. A must play for post-apocalypse lovers and RPG lovers.

Wonderful game! Great for lovers of FPS games and really easy to get into with tons of depth, dlc, mods, Community servers, cosmetics, and balanced weapons. The TF2 team tries very hard to come out with new content and keep the game interesting while still fair. Definitely a must play
