Well, that took things more literal than I was expecting...
Funny little game all things considered.

So I originally got the first Left 4 Dead for like $1 during the autumn sale, and when I got it I was just expecting the content you get in L4d2 just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. AND BOY WAS I WRONG!

The original Left 4 Dead still has an decent active player base (despite not being supported by valve anymore), along with unique achievements and game mechanics/details not present in the sequel. I would recommend playing this game over L4D2 if you enjoy slightly more detailed game mechanics, and overall what I believe to be a less toxic player base (especially on Versus)

Overall, after playing and getting 100% on both games in the Left 4 Dead series, Left 4 Dead is better for if you like a more polished and playable experience in the series, while Left 4 Dead 2 is a better choice in terms of the amount of content you get (both games are included in the sequel), and if active valve servers are more important

I have a tendency to try to 100% a game before making a review stating how much I enjoy/enjoyed it; and I can proudly say I did so prior to creating a final opinion on Left 4 Dead 2 as a game.

Left 4 Dead is probably one of the best FPS games I've played through In a long time. It is heavily teamwork based, ensuring that you must have good communication skills with your fellow team-mates if you want to be successful in any map you play on regardless if your playing as a survivor or infected (versus). The game is able to keep this cooperative play style while remaining entertaining and keeping you actively doing things; such as gathering cans in scavenge, watching out for enemy players in versus, or just trying to survive as long as possible in survival.
After obtaining all achievements and gathering almost 150 hours as of reviewing this, I can safely say Left 4 Dead 2 is a genuinely solid game and I will continue to play it because of such.

Played through the game, it's got good potential and story.

Finally finished the game that started it all (so to speak)

If you've played Fallout 3,4, or New Vegas but have never played the original the main difference is that Fallout 1 is a 2D turn based shooter unlike it's 3D fps-style successors. From what I've heard prior to myself playing this game, is that it's much more difficult than more of the recent releases in the series, due to the combat system, but that in my opinion makes it more unique and fun. My biggest quarrel is it may take adjusting to get used to said combat system, potential difficulty, and if you don't like the 2D Fallout games.
As of reviewing this, I've yet to play Fallout 2 (which I've heard is more popular) however, having played Fallout 3 and onward I feel as though I can firmly rank Brian Fargo's Fallout just below New Vegas in terms of how much I liked it...

TL:DR
Is the original Fallout the best game in the series? well, no. But is it the worst? Hell no, it's far from that!
Because of how much I enjoyed, and liked about this masterpiece, I give this a 4.5/5.

Jokes aside, this is one of the best games I've played on PC and steam in general, been playing it for years since the days of the xbox360. Literally got no complaints 5/5.⠀⠀

Personally I think Fallout 3 isn't as good as Fallout New Vegas, however it is still a solid, fun game in it's own right.
Kinda sad it isn't talked about as much as 4, New Vegas and even 1 and 2 for some reason (in my personal experience) as it is a really fun game, and has very similar gameplay to New Vegas given how it is responsible for the graphics, textures, assets, and more.

Overall (TL:DR) I would give Fallout 3 a total rating of 4/5 Cause it's not as good as New Vegas, but doesn't crash as often, still has a great story, with great gameplay and even more hours of entertainment.
