This simulator was my first exposure into the world of circuitry and has been such a tremendous asset to my learning. Due to cost and space issues I wasn't willing to dive into the world of physical breadboarding before getting my feet wet, and honestly this simulator is all I really need. On a basic/intermediate level this simulator has been true to life and I haven't had any issues following along with YouTubers like Ben Eater or website schematics to expand my knowledge.

I cannot speak on the more intricate issues that other reviewers are facing, but if you are looking for a simulator to complement your education and to get comfortable with the world of circuitry then this simulator is a must-buy.

Early Access Review
I was really attracted to this game when I saw it, although I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the inconsistent spikes in level difficulty, vague level prompts, and a bunch of other stuff that left me scratching my head and feeling frustrated more than actually learning and improving. I feel as though this game is more suited for people who are already acquainted with circuitry and logic and want to see their knowledge put into practice, and are more comfortable with the ability to fill in the gaps that the game regularly leaves.

That being said, the game is just as functional as advertised and holds true to it's claim of starting you from nothing and taking you all the way to a functional computer. Just expect the pace of learning to be similar to a college program.

The game runs like it should but I absolutely cannot believe that online multiplayer has been removed. I've played it since I was a kid and I've even been talking to my friends about how much fun we could have together in multiplayer. Now any chance of that happening is completely gone. I understand this game is almost 12 years old but I still met a community of players online almost every time I played and we would have hours of fun screwing around with various mods. GTA 4 is still by far my favorite in the series, it does so many things right and I would recommend it to anyone. However Rockstar has not been treating it right and update after update it loses more and more quality things. I would recommend this game for the masterpiece of a story and the hours of fun that can come from the physics engine, as well as the dense city that feels huge because every alley and street corner is unique. I just wish Rockstar would invest their endless amount of money into actually taking care of this gem.

There's a bunch of people whining about GFWL, and it's hard to find an actual review from this game. It took me 15 minutes tops to get the problems with GFWL sorted out, people just don't want to have to do extra things so they complain.

This is an excellent expansion to GTA 4. Both stories add on and tie together to the original story but also do it in a very original way. In both games, many new weapons, songs on the radio, vehicles, and mechanics have been added. Things such as draw distance have been improved upon and the game looks great. In The Lost and the Damned, you center around the Lost MC, a motorcycle club that is hanging on a thread and is being tore apart by drugs and their rival gang, The Angles of Death. In the Ballad of Gay Tony, you get to experience the modern big-city life, which involves drugs, parties, sex, and finding any way possible to keep your financially suffering business afloat, even if it means blowing buildings up or doing anything else insane. Both games have relatively short storylines, each having about 20 something missions.

The port has some issues. I was able to keep it at a constant 60 frames for second, although some cutscenes, on rare occassions, will drop my frames to <30 with no reason why. TBOGT seems to have the least amount of work done to it, the cutscenes present a lot of screen tearing, and things regulary disappear or seem out of the ordinary. I found TLAD to have very little issues in my entire time playing it. During some missions, you can clearly tell that the devs just didn't give a damn when they were animating cutscenes or making sure everything ran smooth in the port.

This game has some minor flaws but is very pleasing. 7/10.

This game is awesome. Most games that are 15 years old don't last, but this one has proven everything that game developers should do right to have a lasting effect on their players. I will play this for years to come.
