After the updates this game has gotten so far, including the big item overhaul, I must say that this game is something special. There are loads of ghost hunting games out there, with almost the exact same mechanics, but there is just something about Phasmophobia that just can't be replicated. The scary element, especially the buildings, is not over-done. It's actually very realistic, which is what makes it pretty terrifying. Every match is different, helping it to not feel repetitive, and overall, it's just so much fun to play with others. I can't wait to see what more they do with this game. I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

I was very excited for this game, and the trailers really hyped it up. It looked like it was going to be fantastic. But after beating the game, Im somewhat disappointed.
You can tell this game was rushed. Its filled with many bugs and glitches, sometimes making the game unplayable. And the story itself is not what I expecting. I feel like we were very mislead with this game.
I will say though, there are some points (mostly actual gameplay) where I was really on the edge of my seat, praying I wouldn't die, so I feel like the suspense was pretty good.
While its overall an okay game that I did like playing, it was very far from amazing, and not what I had hoped it would be.
If you were expecting this game to be as what it was hyped up to be, I'm afraid you're not gonna want to purchase this.

Well, this was definetly worth the wait. A lot of us had concerns for this, and we didn't know how this remake would turn out. But, looks like Hangar 13's work as paid off!
This game is amazing. I just can't explain how amazing this is. It stays true to the original, but expands upon it, as well as making big improvements in many aspects. Combat was really good, as well as driving.
Only issues with the game are just a small few bugs here and there, but No where near as bad as Mafia 3.
And since the game mainly focuses on the story, there's not too much to do in the world except explore. But with how good the story is, it's all you'll focus on.
This honestly way better than the original in many ways, and shows how great a remake can be when done properly.
Overall, I highly recommend this game, 100%. It's a solid 9/10, and is definetly worth checking out.

Mafia 2 is an instant classic. It still holds up great, even for being 10 years old. But this "remaster" was such a let down. I don't know whats up 2K, but this is not pleasing the fans. For this definitive edition of Mafia II, they really haven't done much. Yes, they've updated the textures a little bit, but it is plagued with problems. A lot of textures are super buggy. A lot of the character's eyes in cut scenes don't follow the person they are talking to, and are just completely still, which really kills the scene in some cases. There is just so many bugs in this that I've lost count. It is absolutely annoying.
Hanger 13 didn't even try to incorporate anything new, like, let's say some of the cut content(Purchasable Hotels, Working subway system, and more). Its just "Oh, here's some 'improved' textures, for $30."
While I did receive this for free since I own the original version of Mafia II, this just isn't very fair for people who haven't bought the game at all yet.
This had so much potential, but it's ended up being a huge mess.
If you haven't played Mafia II, and want to play it, I highly recommend you go with the original version. Much better experience.

This game is an amazing classic. Even though it was released back in 2004, its still going strong thanks to its awesome game play, and story. The Half-Life series never fails to amaze me. This and the others in the franchise are definetly worth your money.

I'm so happy this game returned to steam after those few years. This has got one of the greatest stories I've ever seen. This game kinda feels ahead of its time. I wouldn't say the graphics have aged well, but they sure are nostalgic. What's REALLY amazing about this game is the story. My god, its the best in the whole series. Most people who have played Mafia 2 know it had a good story, mixed with good game play. But The first Mafia's story is something else. You really get attached to the protagonist, and you're anxious to know what hes gonna do next. While I don't care for the mechanics that much, This game will forever be a great classic.

This game sometimes feels ahead of it's time. Batman: Arkham City is one of the greatest super-hero games I have ever played. I has great graphics, good mechanics, and an epic story. I also love how they fixed lots of issues that Arkham Asylum had. This is probably the best game in the whole Arkham series, and was worth spending my money on. I highly recommend this game to everyone.

For being almost 10 years old, this is still one of the greatest games I have ever played. The story is just outstanding and I've never replayed through a game's story so many times.
Mafia II Is definetly worth the money. I Mafia II was ahead of it's time, and I highly recommend this game to anyone.

This game is pretty interesting. Its fun to play with friends on, and most of the other people you meet with are very social, and fun to talk to.
I love how polite most of the other people on this are. Its good way to find some friends online. Its really a great place to socialize, and escape the real world for a bit.

This is a pretty fun FPS game. Being a huge fan of both FPS, and Western games, this combination of the too is well made, challenging, and lots of fun. Definetly a recommendation from me.
