a bit expensive but still fun. Don't really get why it's twice as expensive as the weapon paints considering they are the same paintstyles. Get it if you want to support the game but would recommend waiting for a sale.

Ever since Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which I consider the best game in the franchise there has been a drought for hightier fighting game content. T7 Came nowhere close to the former greatness of the series but I'm happy to say Tekken 8 does. Arcade character endings are back, sort of, the story is amazing with stunning visuals and the side content is great. Also the movement and combat feels better, Tekken 7 felt off for some reason especially for the character I mained since Tekken 3, Jin Kazama, but I'm glad to say that it feels amazing now. Banger soundtrack too. Handsdown the best fighting game in the last couple of years.

Early Access Review
If you liked Pokemon when you were younger you'll probably like this. Scratches that nostalgia itch while offering a fun and interesting gameplay loop.

The game is a bit rough around the edges in some places and could use some more different mechanics but still a very fun blend of oldschool Pokemon content and a new age survival game along the lines of Rust and ARK. I do miss some mechanics I got used to in Pokemon however because the vibe is so similar that at times it starts to feel like an official Pokemon game. This game successfully borrows a bunch of mechanics and styles from other games and brings those into the fold to make a cohesive and fun game.
Would love if they started adding different palettes for their "shinies" and if the breeding mechanic got a bit of tuning. Also would be cool if we got an actual sort of story involving this game's "Team Rocket"which are called the Syndicate and if we had Trainer Battles since we got told by Black Marketeers that we can sell "stolen Pokemon" as well as other contraband to him (this includes captured humans, yes you read that right) and I haven't quite found that mechanic yet where you can find other Pal trainers with their own teams.
Also one mechanic I find myself missing is a bit of Terra-forming, something like Valheim's system would be amazing but it's not really needed, would just be cool. Having randomly generated worlds with biomes and different seeds would also be very cool but again not needed, and with small settlements, unique locations like abandoned mine shafts etc. this might not be doable even. There are also Elden Ring-inspired Gaol's scattered across the map with boss enemies/Pals in them.

Also the Pal storage seems a bit limited so I hope that gets addressed especially with how one of the leveling system works. There are a myriad of other small issues that could use some fine-tuning but nothing like a complete rework or overhaul is needed from what I have experienced. One of the few small issues that could be addressed for example are pathing issues or adding some more building options like half-walls or wall signs. The devs have said that they will include official mod support, and a nexus page is already up (and of course an unofficial Pokemon mod has also already appeared) so we might see stuff like that addressed by the modding community. All in all it's a very fun game gotten for a very fair price. Definitely worth it.

One of the best most deserving game studios in the bizz at the moment. Was going to purchase it only to see that I already had it, turns out it's a reward for those showing their patronage during the early access period. The game has come a long way since the initial EE release in 2020, have played just about all major patches and was great seeing the game improve each time. One of the good ones and deserving of much success.

Enough glazing from me for now, keep up the great work Larian!

Another exercise in greed from the handsdown worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ publisher in the entire gaming industry. Forget EA, Activision is tens if not hundreds of times worse. Goblin bobby Kotick has to be banished from ever doing anything in the game industry ever again after he'll get ousted from this dogwater (read ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) company. DMZ while a fun mode, basically Tarkov light has been completely destroyed by the greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs with actual real honest-to-god pay-to-win macrotransactions. This is not an exaggeration, you can pay a pretty penny to start with a pretty big advantage over anyone else, be it an extra dense armor, a starting UAV or a bigger backpack to store loot. This is every single game if you buy it, absolutely disgusting. I call them macrotransactions since in their massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hubris they made those purchases ranging from 10 to 30ish bucks. The game is also incredibly buggy ranging from mildly annoying to downright unplayably broken. They seem to not give a ♥♥♥♥ and just leave these issues unaddressed and broken for months at a time preferring to release more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ugly p2w "cosmetics" packs and reversing the good gameplay changes they moved away from in MW2019 back to those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ casual mechanics. Game was actually better than 2019 but now it is marginally worse because not only did they go back to those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ casual mechanics (restacking armor while sprinting, more bullet sponge-y etc.) it also now has actual bad P2W and instability. ♥♥♥♥ this game, ♥♥♥♥ Infinity ward, ♥♥♥♥ activision and above all ♥♥♥♥ bobby kotick.

Would have refunded if I still could.

The only reason I bought the game is co-op and that doesn't work for me, to say I'm pissed off is putting it lightly. Tried verifying and a myriad of other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to get it working but it keeps just not working.

EDIT: For anyone having this problem, apparently the game doesn't want you to have more than 300 friends cuz if you do this error occurs, so delete your friends if you wanna play with friends I guess.

Horrible game still, bad unintuitive UI, clunky controls, no metabolism screen so you don't know wtf is up with your character, floaty movement and combat, terrible graphics. Wouldn't recommend, there are tons of better Survival games out there.

I will update this once I get further into the game but honestly right now as is I can't recommend it. Honestly CDPR should have just delayed it again even though crybabies would throw hissyfits again the game could have used another delay because as is it just suffered from a rushed launch with a myriad of bugs and glitches ranging from texture pop-ins to framedrops to physics bugs like items clipping through the world of characters spacing out. The game on High/Ultra simply does not look fantastic as well and the texture pop-in problems exacerbate this feeling that it does not look good. Now a big patch is rumored to be dropping soon but until then these problems are just a huge turnoff for me personally even though I'm running it better than a lot of people are with hardly any framedrops and with a good enough fps where it does not really bother me.

First Impressions:
Let's start of with the character creation, for an RPG it's really really underwhelming and I severely hope that either mods or a later update will improve this because it was a massive turnoff for me personally. Maybe I'm spoiled with modded Skyrim and normal Dark Souls character creation but right now it feels subpar. Baldur's Gate 3 to me had way better character creation. Let's start off with the fact that you can only pick 1 voice for female and 1 voice for male although you can pick both for you character but this means they went the Fallout 4 route where there are only really 2 voices available which is a shame. Then we go to the skin colors, a bit lackluster as well, couldn't really find a decent white skin tone in there and the closest one I found to a regular white skin tone gave me more of an asian/latino vibe. Haircolors are severely lackluster, I get that this is supposed to be a futuristic game but can we get some normal hair colors in here and not just SJW neon pink/blue/green hair colors? The most normal one felt like the brown hair, didn't have blonde, because even black hair had some weird green stuff in it which is a shame. Furthermore we can't tweak the build of our character and adjust their musclemass or height which is a shame as well. Makeup and tattoo options were also really lackluster again where I was not able to go with something more classy in terms of makeup and instead only go with crazy colors, it also did not have an opacity slider for it like most other RPG's have and the tattoos did not really do it for me either. All in all I really disliked the character creation and because that plays a large part for me in RPG's, I normally put a lot of time and effort into character creation it already was a huge turnoff for me.

Now the combat and controls, it felt decent, not great but not terribad as well. I did expect more of a DOOM Eternal like feeling where it would feel and handle really well with great gunplay but it did not deliver. To me personally it felt just a bit better than a Fallout game. Again maybe I got spoiled by games like DOOM, Battlefield and CS:GO but it just did not feel that great but again it did not feel terrible either.

And again I already talked about the visuals and bugs which are just not up to snuff for me. I did not play much of the game yet so I can't say much of the content of the game but the first impressions were a huge letdown for me and personally I don't feel like it's GOTY material yet. Maybe the game will be more enjoyable when I get further into it but right now I'm not gonna play it until they at least patched it into a stable state where it feels and looks better and with a bit of luck there will be mods out by then that improve character creation as well. I also have to say I honestly don't care for the setting as well, normally I'm more of a fantasy/dark fantasy type of guy and dislike sci-fi but if the game is good enough I can put myself past that and still enjoy the game like I did with "Alien: Isolation" but this time around the game is not good enough for me to like it and since the setting already doesn't interest me I don't find it hard to put the game down for a while.
