and my pc is much stronger than it needs to be for this game

The game can be outright unfair at times, but it's got a damn good cardplay system to balance it, so yes it is fun if you like cardgames.

play with friends die a lot in silly fashion
play solo get 380 credits from one run no problem and able to cover second quota with the same scrap
10/10 would lightly shid pants again

I do think this game is fun to a degree

BUT there are a few issues

There is a dramatic difficulty curve to this game, even on easy it's a challenge due to how quickly enemies get stronger and how you're pretty often to get gored/insta perm'd by grenades

due to the games age it sometimes chugs or outright freezes for a few seconds when loading both the game itself and levels

if any party members die(gored/exploded) you do NOT get their loot back
the exception is if you loot their gore pile
this can be a huge issue as finding both good armor and guns can be a challenge let alone getting a full set of armor



the gameplay itself is fun though despite it's throw your head against a brick wall aproach



at least I got a free steam key like 7 years ago though

If you Know who Machine girl is Buy the soundtrack too.

Gameplay is fun, it's not hard, but being optimal is.
There's a global ranking for how fast you can be and you only get to see it after getting ACE rank or messing up enough.

Story is funny and well flushed out, I've only beaten 2 chapters(as of writing) and aced them all and grabbed gifts(I recomend for that juicy story)

I've yet to find any bugs and I love bug hunting new games, they did their work well a solid 9.5/10(one gift I ran into didn't have clipping on the wall bellow it due to how far out it was)

Overall for a speed shooter I give Neon White a resounding 9/10, the deck aspect can be jarring at first but it'll come naturally.

An actual Advance wars like game that's not just a cheap/low quality knock off.
This game is more like days of ruin with it's Commanding officers where they are units(and thus a lose condition)[not a fan of].
and it is midevil so rather than tanks and guns you have magic and blades.

Story can be funny at times and the characters are well flushed out.

It's really good if you're dumb as ♥♥♥♥

I like having my green and grey crosshair

within the first 6 hours of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around I got a rare achivement of killing 100 civies, I'm a lunaic on the roll

the story is still good and the gameplay hasn't changed much since the beta(which I played)
I still recomend playing this heavily.
