It's alright

I can't recommend this game, the maps are pretty good but besides that everything is pretty much just sub par. Actual gameplay is extremely basic, (at least in the beginning of the game, I don't know much about the game afterwards). Combat is about as basic as it gets, recoil feels odd and bad on most guns, it just isn't fun. Enemies? Walk toward you or stay in one place to shoot you. Their models are alright, animations are definitely C-D tier. Sounds are definitely taken from royalty free websites.

This isn't a B tier game as one of the other reviews said, it's a C- tier game, and even that's somewhat generous.

Stalker call of pripyat is probably a better choice if you want this game and frequently goes on sale with plenty of mods. You can typically get that game for half the price of this one (or for free from certain websites, though I'm not advocating it).

Bottom line: It's a nope on this game unless it goes down to 3 dollars, that's what it's worth to me, if you want to pay more go ahead, it's just my opinion.

To its credit it was made primarily by one guy and he has a playlist of over 6 years of making this game. It's just a damn shame he didn't get more help.

A+ on the animation for the logo though.

Why has it taken this long for something everyones asked for? Because it takes a set of great developers who arent bent on making a dollar at every corner. Still better late than never! THANK YOU FOR THIS MASTAPIECE

Don't do it, it will get stale after 600 hours of in game time and you'll never really want to touch it again.

The grind is hard after rank 12, the same old problems will get in your way incentivizing you to pay for veteran.

Get a steam card and buy Ravenfield or something. This isn't a long term solution.

Devs seem to dodge most questions (guess thats been said for every game) on the devstream, won't acknowledge how OP the Russians Yak-9 is and deal a bad rap to the German faction because (I heard) one of the devs who makes changes/balances had family who suffered in the holocaust.

Am I biased? Yes, I play GE most of the time but have time invested into all of them and simply dominate with the OP guns like the Johnson, and the AVS.That said I do relatively well on GE as thats where a majority of my time went.

Bipods: Its never going to happen, EVERYONE has asked for them but they're on the 'backburner' forever.



Don't try to get into it, pointless grinding for a handful of great experiences and a truckload of bad ones.In the end you'll wish you put your time/ (and hopefully not) money somewhere else.


Seriously where is my Italian or finland faction? I'm tired of the same old US,GE,SU and sometimes British factions.I want the French though I could care less for the Japanese unlike most.

STILL I get constant jittering.It's unplayable.♥♥♥♥ them, Triple A title and can't optomize their ♥♥♥♥ for A BETA?!?

I've played it for a little while and this is what I can say.The devs listen and it's still getting updated with lovely new content.I'm almost sure the lag issue for me is just because i'm in Texas.Although i'm begging for an offline mode, this is a great game and well worth your money if you're looking for a nice RTS WW2 game that you can go off and on with.
