Simply putting it, Risk of Rain 2 does everything a rouge-like co-op shooter SHOULD do. Seriously, from the gameplay that never gets stale 3 hours in, to the absolute banger of a soundtrack. With a whole load of characters to try out, AND even more content with the new void dlc? seriously? This game is a masterpiece, and I hope more people enjoy rouge-likes from this game! :D

This game is very...... interesting,At first I thought this game was going a crock of garbage, given how when the game first came out, it was quite fitting of that description. But now, after two years of development from Bethesda, which included adding a free DLC fro everyone, adding free battle passes, and quite a lot more, I would actually recommend playing this if you are wanting a fresh new style to the fallout franchise.Now, this game is NOT perfect right now, it still has a lot of bugs and problems that need to be fixed, including fixing a main mission, which is needed in order to finish the main story, and a bug revolving around few of the Achievements. But honestly, if you are worried that the game is a bug filled broken mess of a game, don't worry, a bunch of the most game breaking bugs were and are now patched, with the exclusions posted above.Alright, getting into the gameplay itself, and man, was I surprised! Originally I thought the game was was going to be a very grindy styled game, that expected a lot out of it's players, and while it has that need to grind some materials for making power armors and mods for both weapons and armors, it's very generous on some, if not most of the materials you need, and grinding caps is pretty much just completing a few daily quests, mainly wanting to do the Factions Dailies to get extra respect from them on top of it. As for Main Events, such as Scorched Earth, and Colossal Problem, etc. They are actually loads of fun to hop into them. And there quick nature of only being 30 minutes long make for some fun, intense, especially on Colossal Problem. Do be wary though, these events are mostly made for higher leveled players, so if you're new to the game, don't expect these to be all sunshine and rainbows. But of course, with every positive to this game and it's content, there's gotta be some negatives, so let's them out of the way.The first, and my biggest complaint (as of right now) is the very odd choice that came when rebalancing weapons, mainly bloodied ones. While I do completely understand that bloodied builds do need to be nerfed due to their absurd damage output when fighting tougher foes such as Earle and SB Queen, it makes me very confused on why the percentages on weapons for the nerf are so drastic, especially for the Gatling Plasma and the Gatling Laser, as both were hit with an insane ~80-90 damage percentage nerf, making both of these weapons completely useles, while other weapons got away with a 30% or a 50% damage nerf. It's super odd on all these random percentages coming with weapons being either hurt softly or being thrown in the dirt. Secondly, Daily Ops needs to be reworked just a bit, the overwhelming amount of enemies that come out and just overrun the last part of daily ops is just annoying, and you have to spam stimpacks like no ones business. Lastly, just fix Fallout Forever Achievement and An Ounce of Prevation PLEASE!But looking past those, this game has a huge amount of charm, and I would totally recommend buying this game if you want a fresh new fallout game. :)

This game is a major Surprise to me, I thought it would just be another beat em up type of game, but it expands a lot more from just beating up baddies, such as side missions, hidden secrets which help your character majorly, either in Buffing your Character's stats, or telling the "behind the scenes" type of story. Also, it packs a Tower Defense/RTS type of Gameplay, which spiced up the gameplay a lot for me. Plus, the ever amount of Famous Voices in the game, a lot of them from Heavy Metal bands, as well as my boi Jack Black being the Main Character. One last thing I would like to point is the Expanding amount of amazing Heavy Metal songs in the game, most of them you can listen to just playing through a level. There are some flaws in the game as well, such as an Abundance of Invisible Walls, lots of laggy points, screen rendering. In the end of it all, I'd rate this game a 8.0/10. It's fun just to play for around 4-5 hours just to get all the items in the game.
