I'm bad at dark souls. But, I'm not complaining about difficulty. This game stinks and I swear those review scores are just lies.

I love to work when I game

Haven't played much. Game runs like crap on my laptop (12700H, 3060, 24GB)

I get around 60FPS on medium settings at 1080p. That isn't great. But, I am enjoying the game. It has problems. It is not complete. But, I do recommend it if you can run it.

Normally, I would put a "don't recommend" on games that have THIS many bugs.

But, give it a shot. Just do NOT pay full price for it at this point. No matter which of my PCs I use, it's a broken mess on all of them.

Absolutely awful Mac port. Resolution scaling is bad, and changes the MacBook's resolution scaling even when you close the game. There is no reason that it has to be this bad. Playing on the M1 Max, it just absolutely ruins the aspect ratio. I tried refunding, but since I played the game during the beta and got a refund, I wasn't able to. I do not recommend the game as it stands on Mac. It seems to run fine, but it's really annoying to deal with, especially since I'd like to play the game in between breaks when working, and it just is not able to handle that.

As close to freedom wars as we're going to get. DIMPS do not mess about when it comes to feel, and gameplay. The game feels like it's missing a lot, but it's an SAO game. It's not as fleshed out as Hollow Fragment, but it's definitely a lot better. Expect the usual anime bs. Sexualized minors, plot armour, and some very flat characters. But, overall a fun time.

I would recommend the Switch version over the PC version, as it regularly is half the price of the Steam version when they both go on sale. I pad $25 CAD on PC and $12 CAD on Switch. It also has some issues on PC, and the auto aim mechanics don't exactly like being turned off. Definitely a controller focused game.
