Nominated for labor of love.

Pros:
-Crossplay. There are not many games I can play with PS4 players. War thunder gave me this opportunity.
-Multiplayer is fun in this game and the community is actually ok.
-Okay graphics.
-Lots of tanks to choose from and every tank requires different thinking.

Cons:
-Unbalanced. There is some kind of ranking system that makes sure that the difference in BR (sort of level)
is at most 1.0. Unfortunately, this means that some enemies and allies WILL get an unfair advantage.
-Grinding and lots of grinding. If you want to progress at normal speed you need to PAY.
-Faction bias. Just pick the Russians or the Germans if you want to play.
-Terrible maps. To give an example, some maps allow the player to shoot through buildings (without slowing the bullet down).

Pros compared to Risk of rain 1:
-XP is shared now, which is really great for multiplayer balance.
-Steam integration for multiplayer. No more port forwarding!
-Every item has it's own cosmetics. You actually wear the glasses.

Cons compared to Risk of Rain 1:
-Extreme lag on later levels
-No artifacts (yet)
-Easy to glitch out of the maps

I tried this game because I loved the Witcher 3 and 2, but this game just wasn't for me. The game has not aged well in my opinion. The controls are weird and involve things like pausing during battles and attacking enemies like you are playing cookie clicker (yes really). If you are looking for a game like the witcher 3 and 2, this is nothing like it. It plays completely different. I guess a lot of people do like it, but I just would not recommend it to people who started with witcher 2>. I kept playing because I was interested in the story, area design and characters, but it quickly turned into a boring grind of monster clicker. However, my biggest dissapointment is that it does not run well at all on windows 10. I simply can't press "Alt+Tab" or do anything outside of the game or it crashes. I would only recommend it, if you like the story of the witcher (but you can also read that online).

This game is a hidden gem. It seemed like a cheap, ugly and rushed metroidvania when I first saw this game.
However, it turned out to be one of the best metroidvanias I have ever played. It's world is a large interconnected puzzle (like it should be in a metroidvania) and the bosses are well designed and profide a fair challenge. However, The real beauty of this game is the amount of secrets you can uncover (secret bosses, secret abilities, etc...). This game provides the extra depth that a lot of metroidvania's lack. It is really awesome to discover an area that you thought was empty (even more secrets in NG+ or so I have heard). Some people criticize that enemies do not drop health and you can only heal at stations, but this only makes traversing areas more exciting and encourages you to master the game. A must buy for fans of metroidvania's.

I tried to play this game online, but it keeps crashing. Therefore, I can not recommend this game.

The Witcher 3 is great because the Witcher 3 is good.

Best 4X in space if you ask me. The game was released pretty shallow, but fortunately the game slowly gets better.
In updates, they completely rework mechanics of the game for free. If you are still doubting about buying the game, I would therefore recommend you to wait till the next update is available. For anyone wondering about the dlc, it is just there for the extra flavour.
