First thing I did in this game is to create the longest incest family tree in 5 speed. I am currently in the 5th generation and for some reason there's an african child (playing in Ireland) 18 year old cheated on your grandfather/husband for someone in the middle east.

Definition of a time consuming game where everything starts out very smoothly and easy so you get immersed into the game, and then you just get destroyed by many problems until you have to restart. Also stop with the churches. Highly recommend

tried speedrunning achievements, gave me aids and the loss of motivation to play. Great game if you enjoy strategy but don't do the achievements if you want to keep your sanity. DLC and mods are a must or you'll just get bored and tired if you want to do the achievements in vanilla. Recommend mods that change the gameplay such as, rt56 or kaiserreich. Never play multiplayer if you want your 5-8 hours of life back when you're in your death bed wanting more time. If you're new to multi, you'll probably play as a minor nation like New Zealand and become a pet for the UK by building tanks for them all day until they get sea lioned or they just lose africa and rage quit.
