Great relaxing game with just a good dose of story, mystery, and action. Recommended for completionists as well, there's a little bit of a search beyond main story and side quests but not so much that it becomes a chore to fish and complete.

I've always enjoyed Bethesda games as shooter looters and enjoyed the quests, exploring locations even if some are cookie cutter layouts. However, playing Starfield is TEDIOUS.

A few of the big cons:
- one of the highlights of the game, the special powers, is now a repeat fetch quest. That's right. You HAVE to talk to an NPC who gives you a location, you go there do the "puzzle?" and then repeat, it only gives you one location at a time by the way. Also a waste of potential for a handcrafted story.
- To go with the point above, gaining the powers is a tedious "follow the light x times", not even a puzzle, the animation that follows every time is unskippable.
- New Game+ In a game where you can build bases, mod weapons and customize ships, none of it can be kept if you go to New Game+

Pros:
- Same reliable Bethesda shooter, modding weapons, base building, romanceable companions, now with moddable ships.
- A few amazing quests (The last main quest played really well to the main theme)

I had gifted a real Ultimate version before, hearing about the decent gameplay. Then the dlc debacle came along and apparently standard versions don't get patches/fixes even if you get the season pass so beware! The game might be a bit of fun but I would put my support elsewhere, plenty of others that do not produce such technical hurdles to labelling the editions correctly or buying especially for dlcs.

Survival mostly text based story to reach a rescue ending. The beginning part being able to scavenge for supplies is a nice pace change from the main game which is just making text choices as a pick your own adventure book. Good for a few runs as you remember the results from repeating events and play for the several different endings.

Amazing puzzle game. Some are pretty tough to wrap your head around but it's cute, fun AND sometimes mind bendingly difficult. If you're feeling like a good headache, this is a must-play.

Sort of like bridge building games but building a ski lift and half the levels have a mechanic where you control the guy skiing / biking / snowmobiling which was a good deviation from the regular building games. Instead of building a ramp all the way, you could floor the pedal and fly off of half a ramp, very fun sections of the game!

Different core game play mechanic than the first Train Valley, it's way easier and not as much of a real time strategy train management compared to before. In this sequel you can send out trains at your own time to move materials from one station to another and the only challenges are the ones that require some track restriction planning. No more worrying about trains crashing into each other unless on the very rare accident or achievement hunting. Apparently the dlc has levels that are more similar to Train Valley 1 but I have yet to play it. I would still recommend it for casual train track building with a few dozen levels.

Casual micromanagement grinding? This is for you! It's decent for what it is but otherwise I imagine most people can pass and play other games that make you grind for legendary gear. Still it was fun and easy enough.

Honestly, the clunky combat is the least enjoyable part of this game for me. The rest of it is good, the card deck building, rolling dice, story unfolding mechanics I liked. I want to go through the storylines but would have to try and sit through the combat.
