Lore is good but the controls are so clunky and non-responsive, everything feels delayed, you don't really have control over your character. Genuinely killed the vibe for me.

Behold this interactive opus, a game that transcends the banality of conventional digital pursuits. Within the algorithmic tapestry, players are thrust into a nuanced reflection of our societal framework, the microcosmic mirroring the macrocosmic in a ballet of choices and consequences.

As you manipulate virtual avatars through this pixelated theatre, a socio-economic tableau unfolds, its brushstrokes depicting the glaring disparities between social strata. The lower echelons of wage labor become the poignant protagonists, and their tribulations within the game become a vessel through which the systemic inequities of our own reality are laid bare.

This game, with its narrative intricacies, propels players into a labyrinth where each choice carries the gravitas of societal commentary. It unfurls a narrative of privilege and destitution, its digital avatars grappling with the consequences of decisions as analogs of our own existential journey.

Yet, an existential nihilism pervades the gaming experience, casting a shadow of futility over resistance to an indifferent system. The inexorable march of time, the transience of human existence, and the despairing echoes of systemic injustice—these themes permeate the gameplay, beckoning players to confront the inherent flaws within our societal structures.

In its essence, this game metamorphoses beyond a mere digital escapade; it transmutes into a philosophical pilgrimage. Through its interactive medium, it proffers a challenge to our complacency in perpetuating systems of injustice, urging us to rupture the chains of apathy and strive for a more egalitarian paradigm.

This digital odyssey, with its cradle-to-grave mirroring of human experience, emerges as a poignant reminder of the potential for interactive media to serve as a catalyst for profound societal introspection. It beckons us to cast aside the veil of indifference and confront the shadows lurking within the collective soul of our society.

TL;DR
I hope yall's sick little stunt comes with free psychotherapy sessions or I might just have to mention the developers by name in my suicide note.

It really feels like I am in an abusive relationship with this game. I keep getting kicked out of squadrons just to join another, with them eventually kicking me out too. This hurts me. But I can't get myself to back away from the game, as it constantly buys me new flowers and kisses me on the forehead with the daily login bonuses. And once I get that 3 mission +80% RP or SE buff, I pretty much am forced to please my dearest husband, war thunder.

But although I would need couples therapy at one point, I am inclined in giving an actual review for the game:

The game is a grindfest. If you like progression that takes longer than your average life expectancy, then this is literally the game for you. It's pretty playable up to t5 on free-to-play, anything after that and you better start prostituting yourself out on the streets and hope that people pay you in golden lions (wtf is cash anyway?)

I personally enjoy air battles more than tank battles, but I can understand the appeal in both.

Other than that, the game is low-key fun if you want to relax, sit back, and get shot at by 4 different planes that were 5 kilometers away from you a moment ago, with your teammates seemingly avoiding any and all help. Once I had a teammate joining in and shooting me aswell, I miss you teriyaki84. (name might be wrong cuz I might be misremembering.)

Also tryharding is fun aswell, especially if you have a wager open. I do NOT recommend using the "Achieve victories" wager, as gaijin puts you with the most mentally deranged, armless and legless people into a lobby against professional real-life veteran war pilots once you do activate it.

Graphics are alright.

I also do NOT recommend the simulation mode. Maybe on a long range bomber where you can alt + tab and watch a yt vid for 20 mins while your plane does its thing.

TL:DR,
I enjoy gay black men twerking.

The game's story is phenomenal. I have rarely enjoyed any type of story driven games, let alone rpg maker games. But this game has been my entryway into Omori and Fear & Hunger aswell. I can wholeheartedly recommend

Alright, never done a full review but I was really looking forward to KoH II and played 5 campaigns so far.

Cons:
- AI countries have armies stupidly fast. I am talking steve harvey, making a whole audience laugh based on an inappropiate joke, type of fast
- Declaring war on a country leads to the rest of the world declaring war on you after 2 minutes of the initial war declaration
- Spies (even with 5% detection rate (2.5% on successful attempt)) get caught lackin every 5 actions or so
- Diplomats are either broken asf or really underpowered. I genuinely have no clue. Sometimes they do absolutely nothing and sometimes the defensive/invasion pacts carry you through whole war.
- The UI definitely needs some quality of life updates.
- The Clergy, Merchants and peasantry will beat the everliving ♥♥♥♥ out of you if you breathe too much oxygen at once (although the peasantry is mad easy to get good with again by just popping a couple of feasts)
- Your kings inability to marry and reproduce hurts my feelings to the core
- Very hard difficulty is just unfair. I understand you have to be smart about your decisions but it doesn't feel fair at any point of the playthrough
- Game has the same problem as it's predecessor, if you survive the first 1-2 hours of the game you'll just snowball for the rest of it. It's just conquering the map piece by piece after that
- Countries give up their land stupidly easy. I deadass bought every single town of france (except the last one) in under 5 minutes
- I know I touched it in the previous sentences but this game is genuinely unfair in regards to the start of the game. Either you take your first 2-3 towns or you restart the run due to being in war with the rest of the world somehow
- You have to pay to fill the food reserves of your marshals even though you own the town, idk bout that one
-

Pros:
- I really like the new building upgrade system. It's simple, it's easy, my dementia can handle it, and even ben shapiro couldn't tie it to a race discussion (yet)
- Mercenaries can fight for you now by paying them
- Improved diplomatic options (although imo they're still lacking considering the first KoH is 14 years old)

deadass couldn't think of anything else

"Meh's":
- Apparently the pope is only interested in your marshals and nobody else's for his crusades
- Game doesn't really feel like a huge improvement over it's predecessor
- Overpriced in my opinion
- There's simply better alternatives for this genre of games (although none can really come close to the feeling of the original knights of honor)
- I don't like the control points in tactical battles. I don't know why they're a thing. Who doesn't know the major battles of the early 1300's, when an army stood in a certain position for a couple minutes and the enemy went "ah ♥♥♥♥, yall won I guess", however I would kinda understand it in sieges.
- The 1 Hour grace period feels so cheap for this game. I understand the player shouldn't be attacked in the first 5 seconds of the game, but why do I have to feel like a toddler whose hand is being held at the start of the game?

Well, for the last couple of years, following the development cycle, I gotta say, this has been a tiny bit of a disappointment. The previous game is 14 years old and what we got is a graphically updated game with slight mechanic tweaks and ai improvements.

I guess the real knights of honor II: Sovereign were the friendships we made along the journey

I give this game a 4/10, I'd recommend waiting for a sale of at least 50% (not like me, I am an idiot)

Somehow worse than the old A.V.A when aeria games used to own it. It's a shame that neow*z decided to relaunch this game in such a garbage state.

Good concept, destroyed through garbage mechanics

Just replayed the game, still garbage. Filled with bugs, game feels rushed (especially the end)
