A wonderful little platforming game that makes me smile (or get angry in all of the levels in "purpose") every time I play it. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Early Access Review
I really enjoyed this game. I was a bit worried because everyone was saying "it's just a gun simulator." BUT it does have some built in game shooter things (arcade proto) and the level of detail in each gun makes it unique and fun. Overall, it has a good selection of maps, large range of guns and attachments, but a steep learning curve to figure out how to use the guns.

This is one of my most played vr games because there is so much to do, and some levels have their own guns that you can't just spawn in the item spawner

Pros:
+ Very Detailed
+ Many different maps/locations
+ Good amounts of realism
+ Has some "mini-game" elements in it

Cons:
- Steep learning curve when just starting
- Some gun magazines are very difficult to load quickly (p90, minigun)

Enjoyment: 9/10

I enjoyed this game very much, and I actually cared about the characters, which some games have trouble making me do. I did get frustrated for some parts but it was mostly because i'm an idiot and didn't pay attention.

---

Story: 7/10

Not a stellar story, but it kept me engaged and gave me a good reason to complete my objective and not just saying "because that is the objective." The story starts in a place and time with nothing explained, and leaves you to figure out bits and pieces, which I prefer instead of being force fed everything.

---

Gameplay: 8/10

This game is very unique and original compared to other FPSs of the time. It actually requires you to interact with the world beyond opening doors and pushing buttons, and it doesn't quite have the feeling of "just another shooter game"

---

Replayability: 8/10

Didn't quite make me want to play though again, but actually made me want to get all the achievements.

---

Graphics: 8/10

I try not to give games extra credit or lower credit based on graphics, except for in very special cases. Half Life 2 has the best graphics available in 2004/5, and I see no way it affected my gameplay in any way.

---

Bugs/Glitches: 9/10

I encountered no game breaking glitches, and no significant glitches except for a few well known ones that didn't bother me.

----

OVERALL: 8/10

I truly enjoyed Half Life 2, and despite a few flaws, I feel that this game is one of my favorites.

Enjoyment 8/10

I enjoyed the amount of depth that this game held in its story with minimal (to no) cutscenes or sound effects.

---

Story: 9/10

Engrossing story that made me care about my family without even showing them, and actually made me care about (or hate) the people that came into my booth.

---

Gameplay: 8/10

The gameplay is unique, with some small annoyances, such as having to upgrade to get hotkeys.

---

Replayability 9/10

This game makes you want to go and get all the endings, and also see all the interations with the immigrants.

---

Graphics 6/10

Standard pixel graphics, with a little unique bit, but pretty standard.

---

Bugs/Glitches 9/10

Nothing I noticed.

----

OVERALL: 8/10

I enjoyed it, with a few pitfalls

I was recently organizing my game library, and I made a category of all the games that I haven't played for a very long time, so I could play them again, and see how I liked them. If you want to see more in this review series, check out my Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet Review.

I bought this game when it was first released into early access. It looked like a promising idea, but I have been wrong on that before, so I was wary of this game being updated. To be honest, it wasn't the best when I first got it. I played for about an half an hour before I finished everything the game had to offer, then I just kindof forgot about it. When I found it again, it was updated and out of early access, and it opened up to a whole new menu. I played just the "Story" mode, which isn't much of a story, but does have a great soundtrack and gameplay. It does have a small learning curve, which I actually like in most games, so it didn't turn me off from it. I overall love this game in it's current state, and I hope the devs keep up the good work, and keep updating it!

tl;dr I like this game as it is now, and I also love the soundtrack.

Pros:
+ Great Soundtrack
+ Love the "Reprogrammable Blocks"
+ New and innovative idea

Cons:
- Almost no story
- Small learning curve

8/10

[EDIT: Changed my grammar.]

I love the new mechanics in this game. It was really refreshing and enjoyable to hook up a power socket to a light switch and watch a guard zap himself. I love retro-style games, which is a big plus in this game for me as well. I also liked the story, which is while not the best, is still a great story, and also gives actual reasons to why you are going places and doing things. Overall, 9/10.

And I thought is was a good idea to replace the sun with a black hole. Well I guess this is why I won't be running for president.

One of my favorite games in existence of history!!! Love an much as KSP.
Pretty much my review. Don't say it was horrible. Not a review much really. I also nominated it for
the "Test of Time" award because I have loved this game for many years, and never grown tired of it!

Yay, I can actually play 1.4.1! I'm still angry that it took so long to fix breaking linux regressions when they fixed novel bugs in windows, but it's finally fixed and the rest of the 1.4 update seems great.
