I don't know what happened in the last 6 or so months, but the performance for Elden Ring has drastically improved for me. Before I was having a ton of issues with stuttering making the game near unplayable for me (Ryzen 5 3600/RTX 3070). For the reason of it running a lot better than before, I can recommend Elden Ring on PC.

Oh, and the game is pretty good too

I was incredibly disappointed opening the game and seeing that the desert isn't black

Halo 4 isn't bad, but 343i's first attempt in a main Halo game was pretty mediocre. I don't think anyone cares enough to read a lengthy Steam review, but I believe one of the most glaring things about Halo 4 was it simply not being a Bungie game. When it first came out, the art direction, armor design, gameplay choices, etc made it feel almost polarizing compared to the previous entries, especially when it first came out.

We're now in 2022, Halo 4 is almost 10 years old and 343 Industries has been making Halo games for just about as long as Bungie initially did. I fully believe the game is worth playing, but it is without a doubt the black sheep in the franchise.

It's a boring tech demo at-most of flashing color orbs that move to music. Run of the mill app

The gameplay is excellent. But as a metal gear game, it falls short, especially after part 2

The game is intense but also fun. Both the driving controls and the VR support make this game near perfect, especially compared to similar games. My only issue is that the game automatically goes into VR mode even if you're not wearing your headset, which leads to you having to manually disconnect it from your computer. Aside from that though, I would definitely recoommend this game.

If you want a tl;dr: This game might be worth it for $20, otherwise avoid it.

While I don't necessarily support the lukewarm release of a "remaster", this wlll be the best we will get. People are rightfully arguing that this game is basically DSFix modded for $40. Which in some ways, they're right, but this game does a lot more.

The Bad
- I appreciate that us previous owners get the remaster for 50% off, but I still see it pretty lousy that this is basically a $20 patch for their 7 year old game.

- The loading screens are on-par, if not worse than Bloodborne. It took literally 4 minutes for me to reload back into the Firelink Shrined with my SSD. I think it all depends on where your bonfire is located, so your milage may vary.

- It cannot go above 60 hz. I'm sure it's most likely due to their engine not being able to handle it without slowdown, but it's still a feature I would have enjoyed.

- A ton of the bugs from the original are still present.

The Good:

- This game officially supports both Xbox One & PS4 controller layouts. I haven't tested it yet, but it may also support the Switch Pro Controller since both Steam and From Software have been showing it support.

- Multiplayer supports up to 6 playersr, and allows us to create private rooms (exactly like the other Dark Souls games)

- Unlike DS1 w/ DSFix, This can render up to native 4k and it looks nice, given how dated this game is. It's lightyears better than having DSFix upscaling that nasty 720p resolution.

- The HUD now features scaling of the icons. It's just a nice addition, that's all.

As for why I recommend this game, I gotta say, it's way nicer not having to screw with DSFix .ini files, mods, etc. for 2 hours just to have the game somewhat stable.

It's practically Euro Truck Simulator in space. If you got a flight stick and a VR Headset, you'll be set for life.

♂FUCK♂YOU♂LEATHERMAN♂

Do not actually buy this game though. It's a terrible VN that acts like a really short fanfiction of gachimuchi. You're better off saving the money and spending it on the steam trading card items on the community market (if it even gets that far)
