one of my favorite games that i highly recommend (they even got the keyboard/mouse controls right this time!) but for you skeptics,

Pros:
great art design
pacing
weapon variety
combat
hitboxes (most of the time)
boss design
dlc is great
hit things feels good
sound design is great
music is amazing
nostalgia factor for fans of the series as there are references
tons of lore
creative enemy design

Cons:
pvp is wonky
some areas are REALLY annoying
ceratin bosses can feel unfair at times
while the dlcs are great overall, they lack content that will last for more than a few hours (depending on how good you are and if you summon)
and INVASIONS (read below)

there are simly too many things against you when you invade

your estus is cut in half (rounded down)
host's with summons take priority
Phantoms can heal
host can summon endless phantoms mid-invasion
seed of the tree giant destroys your one advantage
and you get ♥♥♥♥ talked, win or lose
lose:pointed down and called bad
win: called a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ person
while that may not be so bad it can get annoying
AND THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PHANTOM RANGE OH MY GOD


Final verdict: if you love PvE then i highly recommend this game, however, if you are getting this game after coming from the great Ds2 PvP and only intend on PvPing as fast as possible, then i cant say if you'll like it or not. Duels are ok but invasins are just not fun to do anymore

In my personal opinion i love this game and know many people who do as well. With all this in mind i will give this game an 8.3/10

THE WORST SOULS GAME (in my opinion) BUT,
a GREAT game overall (if you are arachnophobic get 1 million soul memory and you dont need to go to the spider part)
