It reminds me of games like Dungeon Defenders and DRG with the grind it has, but just slightly goofier. Its not really a bad game so to say, but to call this a "horror" game is kinda misleading imo. It has the right atmosphere, it has the right mechanics for a horror game (aka low stamina that lowers with more weight making things riskier when it comes to jumps and whatnot), but ALL horror elements drop when three things happen:

1. You play with your friends. Really ruins the atmosphere when you know you have someone next to you.
2. You already know how to play the game. For newcomers, for people who aren't used to this genre of horror, and for people who don't learn quickly, yes, this game is hard. However, the moment everything clicks, you know what sounds to look out for. You know what to buy, what to expect, how to counter it, and how to do some movement stuff. Hell, when you know what to expect, the game is half as enjoyable.
3. You buy the goofy items. Boombox, TV, Shower, Jack-o-lantern, etc. It ruins the atmosphere as much as having friends with you.

I've only played 13hrs of this game and I picked up exactly what to do in... what, 3-6hrs? I understand everything about the game at this point in time. The game's repetitive grind for cash gets boring really fast, so the only crutch this game has is my friends. ALL of my friends either want to play or have been playing. Now dont get me wrong, playing with friends is great and all, but this game is one of those games where its ONLY enjoyable with friends (at least to me). You have the option to play solo, but whats the point if everyone around you is in the same lobby? Might as well join, right?

Even if you play solo, you're heavily limited on the amount of scrap you can sell. Time limit, 4 item slots + weight, monsters coming out at 5PM, and the ship auto-leaving at 12AM caps what you can do solo. Sure, you can probably hit the first 3 or 4 quotas, but once you reach 1k or higher, you're searching for expensive items in rend/dine/titan solo. To me, its not really feasible unless the stars align. Well, unless you play with friends, that is.

Maybe this isnt the type of horror game for me, maybe other people see this as a really good game, maybe some updates for more content will help, but I just cant recommend this as of writing. Its a game to mess around with friends in, which can be done in so many other games already. Its not unsettling, its not scary, and its not really challenging. Its just braindead ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me. At least I got my $10 back after a friend told me, "Ill give you $10 if you flashbang your friend", which I didn't hesitate on doing.

Honestly a really fun skateboarding game. Going from Skate 3 to this was jarring, but if you sit yourself down, ask yourself "What am I doing wrong?", read the control guides, and/or google how to do certain tricks, the controls come naturally. Its a trial and error type of system. Obviously there's some issues since its all physics-based, (sometimes noseslides are boardslides, certain tricks that you do might not look like the trick its trying to be, etc.), but its still fun learning a new control system. If you see people not recommending this game cause of the controls, they contributed to the 64.5% of players that couldn't do the tutorial. If I, an underdeveloped adult that can't move both hands separately (like patting my head and rubbing my stomach in a circular motion), can complete the tutorial, you can too.

Besides the controls, the cosmetics aren't all that bad. Graphics look good if thats what you care about. The physics in this game causes bugs to happen, but that applies to most physics-based games. I enjoy how most of the game so far is street skating. I don't mind a skate park, but skating in the park hits different. Makes you think about what type of lines you can do and lets you get creative with the environment you're given. My only grudge is tricks not properly registering, but sometimes it can be the user's fault.

A prime example of that would be my attempts on the mission with the 360 flip. I tried this for 30 minutes straight landing it half the time not knowing why it wasnt working. Then I found out the "360" in 360 flip didn't mean spinning a 360. Did a normal 360 flip and instantly finished it.

Overall, the game is really good for the 6 hours Ive played it. Controls aren't easy to learn but when you learn them, everything feels natural. As long as you don't brute force the game and try to improve rather than getting mad over the slightest inconveniences, you'll be good at the game.

Honestly, this game is good. For the 6 hours Ive played it, I dont understand why its mixed. I know about maniaplanet and how it sucked, I know the VR mode sucks (Almost threw up playing it), but the solo campaign is so good. 200 tracks, 50 for each car, and there's a whole 2nd campaign after getting all author medals. On top of that, you have super track master medals for the people who want more from the campaigns. You can complain about maniaplanet, but you also gotta remember that to play TMNF, you basically have to install the TMUF patch, modify a config, and install the competition patch to submit scores locally on the exchange (unless they changed that at some point). There's also TMUnlimited which makes making tracks a lot better, but that's another thing you have to install on top of everything else. You can just download this game and enjoy it for the most part. Its really fun to drive, the tracks are challenging for the most part, and the aesthetics are MUCH better than TMNF/TMUF and 2020.

I am a 55 year old biker and trucker father, and probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 15 now. My son got this game for from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 12 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he let me borrow his controller. Me and my son then played in turns and I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my son many happy memories.

Im gonna be honest chief, this isn't too bad, but I just dont like it.

This game isnt necessarily P2W, you can 100% get to T7+ as a F2P (especially if you made an account years ago without redeeming any rewards). They give out a bunch of rentals usually so you can get fast money and enjoy higher-tier gameplay. However, there's one issue that makes this game not worth playing imo.

**MATCHMAKING**

First off, T1-3 usually has a bunch of bots. Most people in the lower tiers will face 1-2 people maximum. You start to stray away from bots at t3, but its still very possible to get them. After T3 comes T4, where you either get matched into a T3 game, a T4 game, or a T4-6 game. Whoever is in the T6's during a T4-6 game is just farming the ♥♥♥♥ out of the T4s. Same with T5, except you get farmed by T7's instead. The worst out of all of them is T6, because its VERY easy to get farmed by T8s. At least you can get a really fast tank at T4 and outspeed the T6's most of the time, but if you're in a T6 game and you're not a light tank that can go really fast, ur done for.

Not only is there issues with tier matchmaking, but there's also an issue with players in matchmaking. Understandably, sometimes you get a game in T3-4 where people just got the game and they're learning it, which is fine. However, it seems like everyone is learning the game up to T6, but even then it seems like people above T6 just arent good at the game at all. Dont get me wrong, Im not good at the game, but some of the players in match making are worse than bots. Some bots are capable of at least moving their tanks around and firing at enemies (sometimes), but jesus christ some people just dont do either. Its either they sit there and do nothing or they rush in and die while ricocheting every shot they shoot. That's the thing that turns me off, the people that play the game are either gigachad WoT sweats or they're toddlers getting mad at their entire team because they pushed 6 enemy tanks solo.

I wont even mention the end-game T10 sweats that matchmake in T1-3 w/ premium rounds, how bad the AI is for the bots, and the tanks that are P2W (usually premium tanks in T3-5). Just based off of how matchmaking works, I hate this game. I shouldnt have to wait in queue for 4 minutes, get booted, and wait another 2 minutes for a full bot match in T1-2. I shouldnt have to wait in queue as a T3 only to get a T5 game and be incapable of literally anything. I shouldn't have to queue as a T6 and get a T8 game where they spot me behind solid surfaces. Matchmaking kills this game.

How can they fix this? I dont know. Id say skill-based matchmaking but every time anyone implemented that, it just became a dumpster fire. Dont even know if the game has it yet, but if it does, they should remove it cause that's probably the root to 2/3rds of the issues I mentioned. Something needs to be done about it.

For the 30 minutes I played, all I can say is this:
VRChat with no people, but expect people to start playing the game.

If VRC keeps going the direction its going, this game will be the option most people will play instead of VRChat. It has everything that VRChat has, but better. No rootkit anticheat, no predatory devs, and a mature content filter that's easily configurable. The UI is less user-friendly and there's less worlds/avatars than VRChat, but I can tell this will start getting a lot more stuff.

I cant describe how good this game is. Pay for it and experience it for yourself. It's worth it.

Balance is bad, everything else is awesome. Dont watch any gameplay of it though if you plan on playing it. It'll 100% ruin the experience.

Also, any mages in pvp using pebble and a shield while running away from their enemies with low load should refund the game ty :)
