I don't think I will ever have an awe inspiring experience playing a video game ever again like the one I experienced with Ori and the Blind Forest. Ori is not only a video game, but proof that magic does exist in this world. If you have any interest in platform games go and experience this game. I promise you will get something out of it.

Played the free weekend and I will say your experience will vary hard depending if you have friends that know what to do or not.

When I first played alone it was awful. Lack of map and tutorial made this game probably the most unforgiving game to newbies I have ever experienced in a game. I would just die off the bat often and even when I finally would get a ok start I got sick because of all the crazy ways you could get sick (Example I died because I got sick drinking a bottle of water which apparently has a 50/50 to be safe I believe). Its kind of dumb when playing a zombie survival game that the biggest threat you are going to face is just not dying of thirst or hunger. Also while I was only ever attacked in one playthrough out of like 15-20. It was just too hard to team up with randoms as loot was just too scare to actually team up together efficiently. Ironically the only time teaming up with a person was helpful was when they died in my vicinity I got to take what loot they had and carry on

When I played with experienced friends I finally got to see why this game got the "Better with friends" award because they were able to teach me how to navigate, craft properly, how to get good loot and use it, etc. It went so well I ended up not dying on my third day at all and when quitting the free weekend my character was still alive.

Zombies are kind of pathetic and I heard that community servers are much better but us free players were forced to play public servers. Still I would not recommend this game. I'm only getting it because I have good friends that play it. This is a game you need friends in able to have a good time playing it

After one play through I want to come back and fully experience the world of night in the woods, it's just an ethereal experience that few games I've ever played have given me. I want to talk more bout it but maybe some day I can give this game better justice.

Rest in peace Alec Holowka... I am saddened about what happen to you but I hope you somehow know of all the greatness you achieved and you will be missed.

But honestly this game is probably the best casual game i've ever experienced and I can never get tired of it. I love the simple yet complex gameplay this game has, the sounds the game makes when you get a big combo goes so well with the music you're playing. And even if you don't do that well it's a win win cause you still get to jam out to your favorite tunes. This game is one of the few examples of a timeless game i've ever seen
