A true nightmare of a game to experience. Do not play this for atleast another two years. I'll check back in another.

The most refined gameplay of the series. I know it's important to not fix what isn't broken. but it is a major disappointment that the series refuses to innovate on gameplay mechanics much at all, still even backtracking from AC5 in some areas, and critically lacking a co-op mode or campaign that was offered with Ace Combat Infinity.

The lack of score-attack missions compared to previous games also hampers replay-ability. I think I have 60 some runs on mission 11, half as many on any other level.

It's beautiful, highly replayable game (8 play-throughs at time of writing), that on its own, is a marvel of gaming, but I can't get over how little is done with what is here.

Simply a lovely Rogue type game. If you are a fan of Ace Combat, PLEASE check this game out. Very replaying, shockingly good pacing, I felt I've spent so much more time in this game than I actually have.

Ultimately the problem with Satisfactory is what I believe is a lack of understanding of the time needed to progress in the game. While I appreciate the effort to stretch a game out to make it feel more worth your purchase, I think the game needs serious rebalancing and a number of quality of life improvements to accommodate for its design as a 3D factory building game.

I am currently 60 some hours into a first playthrough and have found the gameplay to become more tedium than enjoyment. Coffee Stain seems to be aware of the modding scenes and the numerous QoL improvements that are offered, I'm sure they are aware of what those are.

Fundamentally, I just think that at the scale that Satisfactory expects you to build at, I don't think the first-person perspective works as well as at least offering a top-down perspective would. I've spent far too much time fighting the game's placement system due to perspective limitations.

It's just not worth my time to both grind through progress and fight the game.
