ESO isn't just an Elder Scrolls themed mmo. It genuinely feels like a TES game with a focus on the lore, a huge world to explore (largest modern TES game) with actual interesting things to encounter and see, a beautiful soundtrack, mostly good voice acting, non intrusive ui and quests that have depth beyond simple mmo tasks.

Unlike Bethesda, Obsidian Entertainment actually know how to create an amazing RPG masterpiece with meaningfull choices, an engaging plot and interesting characters. I'd also recommend picking up the DLC for this game because once again unlike Bethesda, Obsidian actually put effort into their content.

It's a good game but get Warband instead

The community is toxic as hell and will most likely insult you the minute you join a game but that's what makes it fun.

It's Mount and Blade but with guns and Poland, what's not to love?
