Game's good. Quickly becoming my new hyperfixation game. Bought it for three other friends as well. Looking forward to the graphical update, since that's the only real gripe I have with the game.

Hundreds of hours across multiple platforms. The state of the game is dismal because all of the Blizzard executives only care about pumping out the most predatory battle passes ever made. Their battle pass makes Loot Boxes look like a family friendly practice by comparison. Honestly this game should be considered a scam at this point with all of the lies they sold. I've seen NFT games with better business practices. Can't wait for Blizzard to finally shrivel up and go bankrupt.

WHERE WE GOIN'?!

I came across a video talking about Neverwinter not too long ago, which made me eager to reinstall the game. And then, I watched it.

The devs have utterly gutted this game and left it a hollow shell of its previous self. All of the charm has been sucked out of it, leaving only an aggressive pay-to-win marketplace in its wake. It's genuinely sickening to see the lengths they've gone to force players into paying if they want to continue playing.

I wish I could recommend this game. The gameplay is still the best style I've ever seen in an MMO ever, but I can't. Not until things change. I encourage everyone who has even a mild interest in this game to consider the following:

1) No matter how much time you put into this game without paying, another player will be able to get stronger than you in a fraction of the time just by paying.
2) No matter how much you grind out your gear, it will be leagues weaker than the common items that come out in the next addition to the game.
3) If you plan on buying the premium currency through the in-game marketplace, good luck. There's a couple thousand dollars worth of orders still waiting to buy as of right now (3/14/22).

I really do hope that they fix their game, but seeing as how literally every other project of theirs has held the same fate, I'm not holding my breath, and neither should you.
