It is pretty rough

I wont judge the game on the anti-cheat stuff or anything like that, but the gameplay is just not smooth at all.

The movement is clunky, the hit reg for mages is really slow. And it plays like one of those random free console store games from 2010.

It is a really cool concept though.

If I could get more than 45 fps and the gameplay was as smooth as a pc game should be, I would be interested in changing my review.

I am not sure if it is the hit reg or if some of the characters are just have way too much range. But you can't space people for ♥♥♥♥.

Here are my thoughts:

Playing this game feels like piloting a tank rather than playing a human, the animations are too slow for the combat,

Being able to turtle behind block, as well as spam lmb accelerates not being counterable makes the combat very bland and spam heavy,

The horse is way too strong, but at the same time the camera and controls of it make it very unsatisfying,

Blade is way stronger than the other classes because of spam accelerate lmb

Improvements:

Fix horse camera
Make blocking timing based except for shields
Make block breaks work on shields unless the shield ability is being used
When an attack gets blocked, give the blocker the initiative not the attacker (to make spamming not the meta)
give the bow more range
make movement slightly faster as well as movement based animations
allow canceling animations with defensive actions

This is not modern warfare 2, this is just another modern COD copy paste with a bunch of elements taken from battlefield in their new game mode.

The new game mode is fun, if this was its own COD it would be passable modern COD, but this is a disgrace to MW2.

Just name this one COD: knockoff battlefield edition.

Wait...

Here is the deal, I loved the game when it came out.
I was level 60 at the end of week 2, and had a hand in pretty much everything that was happening on my server.

But, with the state of the game, the lack of fixes to core issues since beta, and the trail of poor decisions and dead accounts left in AGS' wake.

I cannot recommend this game to you.

And yes I have 250 hours and yes I got my 40 dollars worth, but you most likely will not.

Open world PvP, lack of knowledge of the metas, and everyone being low level made the game the first couple of weeks. This is no longer the case.

Do keep an eye on it though, if the team turns around make this game great (It already has amazing potential with how fun the open world PvP and the PvP mechanics are), then you should give it a shot, but do not waste your money now.

Wait to see their true intentions and abilities.

Also notice I didn't mention PvE, there is a reason. If you are a PvE player, look elsewhere.
