Overall a decent timesink, however my pc shuts off instantly at random times when playing this. No idea why. logs say that the entire system stopped responding or that power unexpectedly was removed along with various kernel errors. only happens in Planet Zoo though.

Very similar to Left 4 Dead 2, except there's also the RPG aspect of there being different characters who can do certain things, instead of it being just four blank slates who are nothing but their weapons.

Pros

• Well optimized
  
• Pretty good graphics
  
• Well designed maps
  
• decent amount of variety in loot
  
• can be played and enjoyed despite not knowing anything about the Warhammer universe/lore
  
• keys are rebindable and there's a LARGE field of view slider (up to 120)

Cons

• The loot system is based on chance, so even though you handicap the entire team by taking tomes and grimoires, you might end up with terrible loot
  
• (if you have a low-end rig) the frame-rate might drop quite often, as enemies tend to swarm you in large numbers.

Overall a great and very fun game.
I was relatively sketchy about it going into it, as it could just be a remake of L4d2 and not really bring anything new to the table, but it did.
There are the characters whom you play, pick out weapons for and create a very simple build.
(up to 2 weapons, a headpiece and three trinkets(passive bonuses))
If you play as a wizard, you can play with your melee weapon as your primary weapon, or you could play with the staff as your main weapon, and it all depends on what loot-drops you get and how it suits your playstyle.

Overall, great, worth a try. if you're unsure, go watch a stream or a youtube video of it.

Do NOT buy.
This game is so broken, on so many level that it's just unforgivable to even charge money for it.

I got this at the steam sale for 85% off, and I still feel ripped off.

The game randomly won't load when you say "drive'"
the game runs at a silky smooth 20fps (I've got a GTX 780 and the visuals or mechanics of this game simply cannot justify such a performance)

More often than not the game will also freeze, not indicating that it has actually crashed. When you do figure out that it has crashed, even task-manager can't shut it off. the task manager just wond respond, and the only way i've found to fix it, is to either reboot your pc or sign out and in again.

I want this game to be good, but it's simply just put out there in spirit of Goat Simulator, Baking Simulator and Simulation Simulator. An unfinished product for full retail price.

amazingly fun, even after completing the game.
