When I get bored I try to play like Marz does, taking the game all in and enjoying the experience. She does a great job at having fun on her own in videogames and I hope one day I can be as entertaining as her. This is her channel https://www.youtube.com/c/Marzz

What I mean by casual gamer is someone who feels satisfied very fast with what he achieves in-game and plays for 2 hours most per day.

Attitude for FPS: Don't be angry at the game for losing, just become better to win. Oh, and make sure you live, don't just throw yourself at the enemy.

I dislike games that throw too many enemies at the player, making the game mindless (Warframe,Path of Exile). I believe too much stress on the player can be bad for his mental health, especially when he can't take a break since there's too much on screen.

The chief task in life is simply this: to identify and separate matters so that I can say clearly to myself which are externals not under my control, and which have to do with the choices I actually control. Where then do I look for good and evil? Not to uncontrollable externals, but within myself to the choices that are my ownโ€ฆโ€ โ€” Epictetus

Life is long if you know how to use it. / Life is long if it is full. - Seneca

We are more often frightened than hurt; and we suffer more from imagination than from reality. - Seneca

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult. - Seneca

It is not the man who has little, but he who desires more, that is poor. - Seneca

A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man without trials. - Seneca

"Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress, no matter how slow." -Plato

No man was ever wise by chance. - Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Begin at once to live, and count each separate day as a separate life. - Seneca

"I have a problem with not finishing games.
Why is that a problem? Some games are longer than you want to play them, and you are satisfied with how much you have played. Games are likely not your job, they are for fun. If you are not enjoying yourself any more, move along."

"You take dying to seriously, once you understand that you lose nothing when you die , you'll realise there is nothing to be afraid of." (about Dark Souls),

Most people don't even finish their games, therefore the low achievement count.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
I don't enjoy immature, bland jrpgs. Instead, I'd play a mature one.

Treat your favorite mmmo/rpg like you're in Hack.Sign (the anime). Roleplay just the way you like it, or spend some time alone in a beautiful place.

โ€œPutting things off is the biggest waste of life: it snatches away each day as it comes, and denies us the present by promising the future. The greatest obstacle to living is expectancy, which hangs upon tomorrow, and loses today. You are arranging what lies in Fortune's control, and abandoning what lies in yours. What are you looking at? To what goal are you straining? The whole future lies in uncertainty: live immediately.โ€ - Seneca

Make progress, not perfection.

โ€œTrue happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing." - Seneca

โ€œThink of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now, take whatโ€™s left and live it properly.โ€ โ€” Marcus Aurelius

Notes
* Don't play games just for the sake of finishing them. Play what you want when you want. If you have a bag of candy you don't eat all of the same kind because you'll get sick. Instead, pick one of each kind and don't overdo it.

If you want to do something good for someone you got to have the will to do it.

*I like japanese games more than western ones because they don't have puzzles. I see puzzles as a waste of time.

*If you have problems using your controller in a non-steam game or an emulator you have to exit steam, and then it work properly.

I like completionists and those who play new games.

*If I don't want to play a game anymore chances are I forced myself to play it too much and that made me very tired. So, just be chill and don't involve yourself too much.

* Steam sales are called sales because the price is really low. -30 Off price reduction is not really a good deal. Buy the games cheaper than that (around -60%) because you save yourself some money and you might have more fun than what you'd get from a normal full priced game.

*If you have a few doubts about buying a game it's likely that you should save your money and buy something you'd want to buy instantly. That way you won't regret buying the game, and you won't become a game collector.

DanucD has huge self esteem, plus she is my inspiration when I play PUBG.

Sometimes it's best to stop and smell the flowers.

Don't let your life pass you by.

โ€œTime never waits, it delivers all to the same end. You who wishes to safeguard the future, however limited it may be, you will be given one year. Go fourth and do not falter, with you heart as your guide.โ€

*I'm a patient gamer, and also a casual gamer. If I want to finish a game, sometimes I choose easy difficulty.

โ€œHow long are you going to wait before you demand the best for yourself?" - Epictetus

*When downloading Elite Dangerous it doesn't matter that I don't have enough free space. I have to let the game install despite having no free space and it will work.

*See the good in games when you start playing, even in those that are difficult (like Dark Souls). It helps you enjoy them. Suzi the Sphere Hunter is my type of reviewer because she notices good stuff I never would've thought of.

It's not the best game that matters, but the one you play all the time.

It's not a bad idea to take a break from the game you were playing if it's for 2 or more days. Binging is not okay, and it reduces the pleasure you get from gaming.

In case I'm faced with a puzzle I need to be creative.

I should focus on having fun rather than finishing a game. Completing games is not my job. Getting a trophy here and there should be worth it.

Remember how much fun I had as a child with Tekken 5 on my PS2! That was the only game I owned, and I had fun.

*Visual novels are fun but I don't see myself reading for as long as it takes to complete one..

*Gabe Newell: realism isnโ€™t fun, I play games to have fun.

*I should play games to have fun, not to feel forced to finish them.

*I should be inspired by Marzplays when I want to play something and finish it. She's my muse.

*Get good, don't get filtered and each trophy/achievement counts.

*Friendly reminder: you can use your PC to play a mmorpg and the PS Vita/PS4 for long/cinematic games.

*I should focus on completing games rather than buying new ones all the time.

*Suzi the Sphere Hunter is my role model when it comes to enjoying games. I should think of her when it comes to appreciating games., same goes for Albion Hero.

*I prefer games on easy difficulty because it makes me feel powerful and it's not a waste of time.

Advice about drawing: Change your expectation(about the way your sketch goes), find enjoyment in the process rather than the final result, accept that you're still learning. you're never gonna finish learning. so it's just gonna be hard.

Stay cool in Riot Games.

When it comes to buying games: Buy what you want, not what you need.

โ€œNothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficultyโ€ฆ I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.โ€ - Theodore Roosevelt

*It doesn't matter what platform you play on, but playing the game itself.

*I will buy all Humble Bundles that interest me, and this way I'll stop wasting money on games I don't care about.

*Pick a casual game and get good at it! One after one.

*Think of Marzplays when you want to play a souls-like and how much fun she had. That should motivate you enough.

*Sometimes I'm not in the mood for gaming. I shouldn't panic, wait 1 day and you'll be in mood to play again.

*From now on I will play on laptop and the PS Vita, since the screens are smaller and it's harder get derealisation or motion sickness. It's best to use the vita as much as I can because one day it will get old.

In RFactor 2 I should uncheck: "automatic updates" or else the game will have too many useless files. Also, I shouldn't download cars from the store category because I won't be able to drive them, I'll only fight against them. One more thing, pick the Xbox360 preset so the game will be fun to drive.

Friendly reminder: I play on a monitor, not a big TV. Therefore, I should be fine with medium textures, great anti-aliasing, medium foliage and shadows.
