Now that I have spent a couple hours on the game I think I can write a good review.
Civ 5 is my favorite game on my computer, there is basically endless ways you can play this game, I have over 700 hours on it and i've only beat the game with half the roles, not including all of the scenarios. I highly recomend buying the all of the DLC's, they make the game a lot better. If you can't afford it its fine, the base game is still worth it. The only problem I would see with this game is the multiplayer, which is really glitchy. Also don't waste your money on beyond earth, just buy this instead.

Pros:
FRECKEN AWSOME GAME
endless replay
simple easy to learn
great if you love turn based games

Cons:
Multiplayer needs a little work but still able to nuke friends with ease :)

10/10 would trust Gandhi only to be backstabed and nuked again.

So in the Star Wars series there is no official calendar or number of hours in a day, yet they always say, "I'll be there in one day" or, "He's been gone for hours". What planet is the basis for hours and days? Is it Coruscant because that's the Republic's capital? If so, then did the measurement of days change when the New Republic established its capital in Illum? Also, why are there no calendars in the universe? They clearly have a concept of seasons. How would they even know when a year has passed when the seasons would cycle through more rapidly and more slowly based on the gravitational pull of the star the planet orbits. Are we to assume the standard year and length of a day are the equivalent of our earth days and years? Why would they decide that 24 hours is a full day? My point is, I spent more time thinking about this than actually doing the homework! This is the one time I need a scene of two people sitting down and discussing a relatively significant topic.
