Doesn't look much better than Vanilla with mods and the fps drops are insane. This seems very lazily put together

Smite is a sad story. In early beta it was an amazing game and had so much potential. I thought it was the best moba back then. Over time hi rez has decided to make so many drastic changes to the games meta and not one of them has been good. It went from a game where you could excell with most of the gods to a game where only the very few op gods are any good. I used to play it every single day but it's just not the same.

Rarely do I write reviews but damn this game is truly a gem. From excellent voice acting to amazing combat and an insanely captivating story this game and its predecessor are some of the best made games that I've ever played. From being a nasty Nosferatu to a suave Toreador this game has it all. If EA weren't d**** and didn't push White Wolf to release it ahead of schedule it may have been the best game of all time. Yes the game does not work without the unofficial patch and that is what all the negative reviews say but it's just one patch to play one of the greatest games of all time. If you are looking for a truly immersive experience that will have you coming back and beating it over and over for years this is the game for you. I would even go as far as saying that the game is worth more than $20 dollars even as old as it is. In an era where aaa devs are releasing trash all the time it's nice to go back to a time when a game was made with love and the user in mind. 9.5/10

Pros: Combat system has been refined and improved very much.

Cons: No longer an rpg. For whatever reason Bethesda thought it would be a good idea to make the game more casual friendly and remove the rp element from the game. Now you have a dumbed down mass effect dialog system in which your choices have no real effect on the game at all. The story and protag are also quite weak. You can play a concerned parent or wait for it a concerned parent. Whose voice acting skills are terrible by the way. It's like they went out and picked the most wimpy sounding guy they could find. As a person who spent 1000's of hours playing every other fallout it feels like a slap in the face. The building system while cool seeming at first has no real effect on the story and seems like a really half assed idea. The power armor is terrible. In other fallout games it's the best armor that you need training to wear and only get after putting some serious time into the game. In this fallout they say screw it we will make them only use power armor the entire game. Overall they turned one of the greatest rpg's into a fps and spit in the face of every die hard fallout fan. I'd give it a 4/10. I have put 47 hours into fallout4 and I cant imagine I will ever feel the need to play more.
