Really fun game with a lot of replay ability and is really great if you just want to listen to something in the background while fiddling with something. Lots of different builds you can do with increased difficulty modifiers and alternate modes to keep the game interesting.

I really like that there's another rhythm based roguelike out there, especially an FPS one, but the game doesn't seem to do anything more than first person Issac with more features locked behind meta progression and less items. The item variety seems low from what little I've admittedly played and a lot of the weapons feel VERY similar. Shops with the angelic bird without meta progression also seem to just give you health and nothing else. Readability is also REALLY bad in this game. Everything is stained 1 color except for the enemies which are slightly hue shifted and once you get effects involved it's really hard to tell what's going on. The shrines are also really hard to see since they're the same color as the rest of the level most of the time without an indicator on the map that they're there. Weapons also don't have a clear bullet trail so I can't even really tell if I'm shooting 1 or multiple bullets which feels weird enough without range being arbitrarily set at a set distance that you kind of have to feel out. I also can't really play it and enjoy it due to photosensitivity issues with how bright and flashy this game is and how there's NO accessibility options. They just kind of put a warning at the beginning without any options to reduce those effects.

I like the way in which rhythm interacts with your shots, reload, and abilities, but most everything else about the game needs a lot of work. it's really shallow compared to a lot of the rogue likes I've played from what I can tell. Overall, the game needs more options for accessibility and readability at least for me to want to give it a shot again.

If you think of it like just another minesweeper game then it's probably not worth the money, but it's a hell of a lot more. There's a lot of influence from other rogue likes with how you can build runs and get things to go absolutely insane with things like the library helping making crazy synergistic runs.

As an example, I had a passive item that made the strangers shoot 1 fire ball that could kill monsters clockwise every turn. I also had an item that spawned loot whenever a monster is killed (gold, hearts, diamonds), and an item that made strangers spawn whenever I picked up an diamond. Plus a magic item that I'd use to spawn in 1 stranger every game. By the end of it everything was on fire and fireballs were coming from every direction spawning money everywhere. That's just one of the examples of crazy runs that I've came across.

If you occasionally just play minesweeper when you're bored or listening to stuff and enjoy making crazy builds in rogue like games then, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. Play a few runs and if you don't enjoy it for whatever reason then you can refund it but this has surprisingly been the most fun I've had in a game for a while actually.

A simple fun, plug and play game where you can hop on and off whenever you feel like on the surface, but is one of the most complex FPS's out there with one of the highest skill ceilings out there. At 1000 hours you can still be considered about average, so if you're into improvement and mastering games, you'll love this one. The game doesn't try and teach you much, so try and look up stuff outside of the game if you're struggling or ask one of the people in the community. This is one of the nicest communities out there even if there's a few toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the mix too. Just kind of expected with online games at this point though. If you meet the right person in a community or casual server, you can sometimes get someone who will try and help you out. I couldn't tell you how many times I've helped someone out with rocket jumping or with other little mechanics or just how the core concepts of the game works. You can meet some great friends from this game if you're willing to look a little. This video is kind of old, but it kind of captures a lot of that experience of helping someone who's new to the game out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVBOLoDSMUM).

That last link leads me into my next point about it. TF2 is much more than the game itself. There are people who play it soley for the other aspects of it such as it's trading economy. Then there's others who actually make stuff around the game... I'm not talking about only things like cosplays or art projects; I'm also talking about things that can and have made it into the game. Valve gives access to their map editor, so you can make your own custom server with custom maps, game modes, plugins and anything else you want (UEAKCrash's video series on making TF2 maps https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2KT0JL74Qff_c1WbqNi4K5yAmpWAUQlq). You can also make cosmetics as well as animations with source film maker, UI mods, character model mods, animation mods and sound mods. Some of the mods are going to be disabled on official servers, but you can still make them and run a fair bit of them to make your TF2 yours.

It's a great game with the best community I've ever seen and so much to do in it for everyone from the comp player, to the, to the casual player and even to the artist, programer and level designer. Enjoy.

Crypt of the Necrodancer is one of the most fun game's I've ever played. It's not for everyone because it is actually a challenge and you needs more skill than just keeping beat to beat some levels with the charcters. I'm over 100 hours into the game as it is and I STILL can't beat the last zone with a character called Aria. I'd sugget this to anyone and have bought this for other people.

Pros:
- Amazing soundtrack with multigenre versions (Personal favorite is FamilyJulez)
- Hard, but so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rewarding gameplay. Beating a level after failing at it for so long feels like such an acomplishment.
- CREATIVE AF boss and enemy designs
- Simple 4 button (up down left right) gameplay with a few combination presses that is easy to pick up but SO hard by the time you hit someone who plays at double speed.

Neutral:
- It's essentially a fast paced strategy game
- Your choices matter SO much and one single misimput can leave you down health or even dead on the tougher enemies always leaving room for you to improve more
- It's a rogue-like/lite so it's got random level generation, item and enemy spawns

Cons:
- Can be hard to get into, but it's more an issue of sticking to it when you start.
- Can sometimes get a bit framey and off beat, but I think that's only an issue with my crap top because every other device I've gone on doesn't have this problem.
- Will probably not win "Best Soundtrack" if only because not that many people know about it and it's being pit up against Cuphead and Undertale which both have huge fandoms. Personally, I think necrodancer's multigenre music is a lot better, but that's just me :P

What this game is like and what features it has:

-An exploration of forein and diverse worlds with a lot of dungeons!
-Each race/species and even some buildings have lore and logs that is slowly unraveld as you find more and more books.
-Randomly generated worlds, weapons, and even animals with a diverse way of fighting. They can do anything from simply biting and slaming down on you to shooting ancient blue flames or balls of gel that slip into multiple gel bits and then explode.
-An attack system with parrys, blocking, guns, and a veriety of melee weapons with a two handed system that allows for even more playstyles. There are even legendary grade weapons with their own affects like shooting giant electric balls or cactus spikes.
-Relaxing building with a colony system that lets you build your own city with each colonist based on what the house has in it.
-A large mount of cooking recipies and raw foods that can make a mission of finding EVERY food item and unlocking every cooking recipie by using the ingedients. (different food items give different buffs) It's something to do when you just want to relax.
-You get a pet at the beggining and you can play with it and feed it with the food you find, grow, kill, or cook.
-penguins (Do I need to say more?)
