One of the major PlayStation games to come over to Steam this year, I gotta say: I understand the hype. The game-play is top notch; the combat is quick and fluid, and the web-swinging makes exploring this beautifully rendered New York such a treat. I found myself forgetting fast-travel was even a thing. And the story is quintessential Spider-man, chock full of twists, drama, tragedy, and most importantly: heart. Admittedly there are some issues here and there. Getting Ultimate on the challenges can be an absolutely hair-pulling endeavor (you don't have to for any achievements, but that didn't stop me). Controller input on the whole was incredibly responsive, but I did notice my inputs failing to register on occasion. The mini-games can definitely get repetitive. There are also some moments where you play as other characters, and while I don't hate them as much as some do, they do drag it down a bit. But don't get it twisted: this game is phenomenal, definitely my game of the year. It's a cliche stance, but it's true: this game really makes you FEEL like Spider-Man!

Half Life Alyx proves not only the power of virtual reality, but also that the Valve we'd feared to be lost forever is still alive and kicking. With its phenomenal gameplay, intuitive use of VR technology, great characters, and a solid story with surprising twists and turns, Half Life Alyx is an instant classic. If there was ever a game to convince you to get into VR, trust me, this is the one.

As you can probably tell by the number of hours I've played in this game, I love it. It's been one of my favorites ever since I first started playing in 2013.

However, despite my love for the game, I cannot deny that there is a problem. The bot presence in this game is a serious issue, pissing off old players and pushing away new ones. It's gotten to the point where the game is outright unplayable for many people.

This game may be past its heyday, but it deserves to be in a better state than this.

I leave this review as a message, to both Valve, and my fellow players.

No More Room in Hell provides players with a much more Hollywood style of zombie apocalypse, where ammo is scarce, teamwork is mandatory, and a single bite from a shambling zed could be your downfall

A surprisingly enjoyable indie game that manages to set itself apart from its competition with a fresher setting and intuitively designed gunplay

I initially gave this game flak for its lack of narrative. But now, as time's gone on, especially with The War Witin, the lore in this game has become richer and richer. Combine that with the fun and addictive gameplay, and this game has most definetely gotten better overtime.
