Awful game

After many years, let me talk about my time playing this game with it being removed from Steam.

I first played H&G on Aug 20, 2014, with my love of WW2 era games being at full swing. I spent probably the first two years hating the game; I was young, didnt understand combat fully, wasnt the best at positioning and was in the camp of "this game sucks, it takes me too long to do anything."

After a few years, around 2016, this changed. I went into sniper stuff, figured out XP and cash income, figured out combat and finally knew how to compete. Id go in games and frag hard with basic rifles through my knowledge of weapon stats, good match ups and counter play. I enjoyed all thing infantry. Bought LMGS, rifles, launchers, everything. I didnt care about vehicles, I just enjoyed quick games.

As time went on, my interest changed towards being a tanker, bringing back old friends to man tanks and genuinely enjoyed Tank v Tank, war games. It was a blast.

Then, the decline. As the years continued, more and more cheaters popped their heads up. The grind bored me. I thought nothing fresh came out, even with the flamethrower introductions. Player numbers declined and it was just the same people in each game. I got to knew names and players often. Even through toxic chats, we knew we all were fighting the same battle. It was more personal.

My final time playing this, admittedly a while before closure, I knew the dying game was on its last legs. I now had a bit of resources in every branch, numbers were in the 10's or VERY low 100's. I just brought tanks and snipers and had fun. Due to the lack of players, I had to connect to Asian or American servers to play (from Europe). In my final days of playing, it was just bliss. No worries for currency. No worries for unlocks. No worries at all.

As H&G2 is announced, there are some things I would want from the new game:

-We know P2W stuff was a little problematic. I think having it *slightly* easier to access stuff in the tree would be better for enjoyability and not thinking "I need to pay to access stuff".
-More variation on weapons. It becomes stale using same weapons in same trees, even with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "lets bring a PPSH as a US soldier.
-More variation in maps
-IN GAME VOICE CHAT
-More customisation for characters
-Re-balancing of the economy

Intructions unclear, ♥♥♥♥ stuck in the bus doors

This game is BALLS OF FUN!

You log into a world, probably on a hill. You then scavange a town while having around 30 zombies chase you (BTW, that is hilarious!). You then find a baseball bat and you think "... how long will it take me to kill them?" You then destroy the place, are about to walk off, then die or thirst. FUNNY GAME

10/10 WOULD EAT DA BERRIES AGAIN

VERY fun game, I just wanted to build a GIANT penis tower. So I did. I wanted to build an elizabethan house. So I did. It could improve if I knew how to play multiplayer, but whatever! When they do this, it will be 11/10! For now, 9/10

I want a refund. I cant even start the game! I press play. 30 seconds later, UPLay opens. UPLAY! I DONT WANT UPLAY! Anyway, made an account, and registered and stuff. Anyway, said I needed to restart, so I did. Pressed play after restarting, UPlay opens up... Breaks. *Uplay has stopped working* WELL MAKE IT WORK! This game has stressed me out SOOOOOOO much, I want a full refund, NOW!

I'm sorry, but this is the most difficult game I have played EVER. For a start, hunting Elk or Deer or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ I was hunting first, that was on top of the list, took me 30 minutes just the find the TRACKS. Then, when I did find an Elk/Deer/Unicorn, it took me 4 years to pull out the gun, but by then the "thing" ran off, and just GLITCHED into tree's stopping me from shooting it. Finally after 2 hours of searching and running I gave up and thought "♥♥♥♥ the world, ♥♥♥♥ the game, ♥♥♥♥ the ducks and ♥♥♥♥ off." I advise NOT to play the game, as throwing your PC out of the window may occour.
