I could never get into any Dark Souls game. The franchise just never seemed to do anything for me. Then Elden Ring came along. I was pressured into giving it a shot as I had no interest in getting a souls-like that I would never play.

Elden ring was the opposite of what I thought. The game is story rich and doesn't matter if you're new or old. You will die regardless. But dying never felt overpowering. I still had the drive to try again. I spent many hours trying to beat an enemy that then I saw I just spent 4-5 hours on my attempts.

It's worth it.
