Steep learning curve, but just so satisfying when you understand what is what.

Half Life: Alyx is by far the greatest VR experience out there. Its storytelling, even with the high bar we set for the HL series, does not disappoint even in the least. Gameplay is around 15 hours on "story" difficulty (2 levels below "normal") and there's quite limited free-roaming capability, but the absolutely amazing sets and scenery easily makes up for it. I advise a 4 sensors for your VR setup, because you turn quite a lot and it'll be difficult to shoot straight if you end up facing away from just 2.

TL;DR: I'll buy the next HL game with 0 second delay and pay every cent extra.

Cool game, great PvP mechanics, however, has tons and tons of bugs.
Also, maintenance takes away half a day of game time for Europeans, as they roll out maintenance on all time zones at the same time while prioritizing US. Be prepared that you won't be enjoying the game on Wednesdays.
