The heroes are worth it and Arcade has some cool rewards but the actual Arcade game mode isnt that fun

I usually don't review games unless they have exceptional circumstances to require a review. This game is very fun and has very interesting combat system. Creating your own deck and trying them out with friends is very fun and rewarding. Learning new styles of fighting from just fighting NPCs (even though grindy and tedious) is very fun and makes the progression in learning a new style something that seems new and nothing I've ever seen before. But then here's why I just can't reccomend this game. Two reasons, the community and the developers. The community because from my experience the all attack on sight like this is DayZ. So it's like every single fight I get in I have 75% to 50% health. There is no punishment for attack random people (even if you don't inniate combat and just pull a sword out and just start ganking someone). In fact, not just is there no punishment, but you are rewarded XP for "fighting" an "opponent". Pair that with the fact that if you actually wanted to fight players online in an actually PvP match (not just roaming the world and then getting the ♥♥♥♥ beat out of you by a random guy), then you will be forced to wait for matches upwards of TEN MINUTES. No one is playing this game except for the people that build their fighting decks in a way that cheeses the combat system and takes advatage of the "perfect strike" mechanic. This leads to absurd amounts of stun lock and losing a lot of health. This is how I think it's also the developer's fault because they are just not helping their game. The content for PvE is short, the aren't balencing some well know cheeses that have been around for a while, they are stuck trying to cater to PvP or PvE and they just can't find a middle ground that actually supports this game equally. Overall, it's fun if you just want to mess around for a few hours and play with friends, but if you're looking a for fun PvP based multi-directional fighting game? Just go play For Honor. For Honor will probably have a free weekend when their new content drops in October and that's what I'll be waiting for. As for this game I'm going to keep playing it every now and then to see if it changes my mind but it's not looking good.

Alright I had a negative review but after how much effort they put into reviving the game I have to say tthat it deserves a positive review now. Especially if you catch it on sale I'd say it's worth a shot if you've been interested.

Yeah I mean I guess it's aight... My friend and I finished the game in one day. I'd wait for a sale.

I'm soooooooo happy right now! They finnally did it! The patch that fixed the ♥♥♥♥♥ netcode! I finally can go into the game with max settings and it will work! So everyone who bought this on the console can suck it because I knew NetherRealm would come through (even with the sickening lack of faith from it's customers) and fix this PC port. I now have the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition that I got for the small price of $35 when it should be $90 and it's because even though I knew the port was trash, I had faith they would come through and they did. See guys, with a little patience and hope, things will play out just fine. So do I recommend this game? Yes, and If you could pick it up of those sites that sell game code like how I got one then HELL YEAH! Now excuse me, I'm going to go play the Jason Voorhees tower...

It's not the game's fault. I just thought this would be more like DA2 instead of a point n' click.

Installed it. Watched 20 mins of it. Found out it was an hour and 30 mins long. Deleted it.
