I'm currently still playing through the game. This is technically my third time playing, though the first two times I didn't get very far whatsoever.
Recently, with a lack of games to play, and hearing the news about Shadow of the Erdtree, I wanted to get back into Elden Ring, so instead I beat Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3. And just like that, I learned how souls games work. Now, that being said, you don't need to play any souls games before this, but keep in mind that this, like every other soulsborne title, is unforgiving and doesn't hold your hand even slightly. You are on your own in this world, and frankly, I like it that way.

This game feels like the culmination of Fromsoftware's work, melding together elements of Dark Souls with a beautiful new world, and a gigantic one at that. As of writing this, I am 75 hours into the game, and (as far as I am aware) am a little less than half way through it all. This game is massive, and the mistake I made the first two times I tried to play this game was rushing. Don't do that. Take your time, explore, appreciate every nook and cranny of the Lands Between, and trust me, there is a lot to see. This game is incredible, and playing it now for the third time after I managed to 'git gud', I can't put this game down.

Day in and day out, all I can think about is Elden Ring, and it is a very special thing for any game to make me feel like that.
This game isn't for everyone. There are points which will make you mad, and areas which can be painfully difficult if you're under equipped, and the game doesn't tell you anything. It is your adventure. Keep a notebook to keep track of quests, because there is no quest log, and place markers all over your map, because there are no objective markers.

If you're in for a quick and simple fantasy RPG where you run from area to area slaying everything... This game isn't that.
But if you're in for a long, hard-fought and rewarding adventure that you can lose yourself in, then yes, this game is the best of the best.

I have a phenomenally ridiculous amount of work to do now, and I'm almost constantly either buried in it, stressed out about how I'm going to be buried in it, or both at the same time. I used to play the first Garden Warfare on my old Xbox 360 when I was younger, back then, I had basically nothing to do, and no responsibilities. Every day, pretty much, I'd come back from school and play for hours on end without a care in the world. Recently, my best friend and I bought this game while it was on sale and launched it together, it brought back many good memories of simpler times.

Nostalgia is good.

If you could go anywhere on the planet, anywhere at all, without leaving the comfort of your home, where would you go?

This game is short but very sweet, and has a pretty depressing story if you're into that sort of thing.
The art style is very reminiscent of older games, pixelated and in black and white, with the exception of the giant pulsating purple mass in the background. If you've ever dealt with issues surrounding depression, anxiety or other such related things, be forewarned that this game tackles some pretty dark topics, including these things. Despite the game's short runtime, it is pretty meaningful, and it will certainly be one that I remember for a while.

TL;DR: Definitely recommend playing it, but prepare yourself for some dark topics and a depressing story.

Beat Saber, Beat Saber... What is there to say about this game that hasn't already been said?

As far as VR goes as a medium, Beat Saber is probably the quintessential VR game. If you have a headset, you probably have this game, if you don't have a headset, you've either tried or know what it is, and if you have a headset and don't have it... Then just buy it, there's nothing more to it.

Early Access Review
Despite having been a VR user for a substantial amount of time (closing on 4 years as of writing this, actually) I haven't spent all that much time in VRChat. In the beginning, it was because the menu was confusing, it lagged, a whole host of other issues that I won't get into, and well... I had nobody to play with.

That being said, just the other day, after spending some time actually learning the new interface, I decided to finally open my mouth in a public lobby.
Lo and behold, a few hours later I had taken on the form of Zhongli from Genshin Impact, formed a cult, started a family, made multiple friends, witnessed both a giant ugly crab and Master Chief having an existential crisis, had my girlfriend briefly kidnapped by a large cockroach, got high as ♥♥♥♥, and celebrated the new year all through the relative comfort of the black face-toaster I call my VR headset. This was in the span of about 5 hours, by the way.

If you're anything like me and dislike speaking to people, or just refuse to fiddle around with the menus, then hopefully I can convince you to just try. Seriously, it's worth it.

When I first looked at this game, I actually thought it would be terrible, simply judging from the avatars and art style.

I judged a book by its cover, and was completely proven wrong.
Rec Room is actually a ton of fun to play with friends. Easily one of the most entertaining VR games I've ever played. You get lobbies filled with squeakers sometimes to be sure, and I will admit, I still do think the avatars are ugly, but other than that, gather a few buddies and you can play for hours straight without a dull moment.

To put it simply, Smash but on PC.

The easiest way to rage / make your friends rage at a golden robot man on a rocket-powered lance larger than he is.
