Really fun gameplay loop, good OST, and cute artstyle.
Lots of difficulty options to choose from as well, I think so far my favorite was Puzzle mode, which really made you think about what you can pick up and can throw away.

Picked it up in a bundle with another inventory management-type game, will say it is pretty fun. Can feel a bit too stop and go, would ideally prefer longer waves, but that's my personal preference. Good difficulty adjustments, though as of review I've only gotten to the 3rd to highest.

Absolutely great game. Lots of content, still getting updates pretty often that add in even more. Pretty fun sound design. Can be a bit too bright with how quickly you can have your attacks take over a screen, but it's never terribly bad. It's a blast, as you really start to feel strong as you play more and unlock upgrades, to the point where the only threat is human error and RNG, but even then those can be mitigated really easily lol
My personal favorite character is Poppea, love Song of Mana, which is the weapon she starts with.

Great game offline, horrible game online.
Character creation is a lot of fun, the characters are a lot of fun. Battling offline is a lot of fun.
I don't like the online. Could just be there's so few people playing it online, but I keep ending up facing the same 5 or so people, and it's laggy, and often, unless you are actually good or decent at the game, you will just get your ass kicked because it will pair you up with people regardless of the rank points or w/e they use, and I can never seem to find a casual arena.
DO NOT BUY THIS TO PLAY ONLINE.

While this game is amazing, do NOT buy it through steam if you want to play online with friends. There is a HUGE bug that prevents new people from playing online. This needs to get removed from Steam because it is literally unplayable to new players.
We found this out when we wanted to play WaW Zombies for the Nostalgia but one friend didn't own it on steam, so he went to buy it and it refused to let him make a profile for it after he did. It's an archaic and old online system that really doesn't support modern Steam, and is out of keys for new user to play online.

It's a great game with a lot of flexibility once you get going. For the price, I hard recommend it. There are so many interactions in this game that really can change the game, lots of synergy.

100% love this game, grew up on it. It's got a solid core mechanic, that gets more complex with exploits turned mechanics such as prayer flicking and tick-eating, which take advantage of the games in game timer to get the most out of stuff. The gameplay is a point and click, and waiting a lot in the early game, but progresses to incorporate player movement to avoid attacks, swapping prayers to reduce/negate damage, and require the player to change gear mid-combat to fit the situation.

The quests are, very hit or miss I feel. Some are amazing, love them to death. My favorite quest series is the Fremennik series, but overall most quests give good rewards, either access to new areas, gear, spells, or a nice chunk of XP in certain skills, which is always a nice bonus. Almost everyone will agree one of the worst quests is One Small Favor.

Skilling can be chill or intense, depending on your training method. The faster methods are usually click intensive, but a lot of them have a slow, afk method, though usually are slow to start.

PvP is also decently alive in this game, with minigames which you keep your gear, but is very difficult at low levels, then the more chaotic Wilderness and PVP worlds where you lose (most if not all of) your gear to your opponent if you die.

Ironman mode is interesting, but I think because you can only log into one account on the official client I would recommend NOT going for that if you have not played the game before and recently. It is an account type that has you be the only source of items, instead of trading/doing bosses outside of Raids which are late game stuff.

And finally, the OFFICIAL Steam OSRS Client, is fairly basic, but it's not bad. There is a guide out there to link RuneLite (which is a fairly recommended free and safe Client for OSRS) and Steam and have it count for here, but idk how that interacts with Steam for Membership, but I know Runelite does not track the achievments if you care about them. You can get them on the base and move over to RuneLite, which is what I did. Also, I the overlay for steam chat by default appears on the bottom right, which can block your menu icons/inventory a bit, there is also a way to change that to the bottom left or wherever you like, but this isn't the place to explain that. These things may change, but it can be a minor annoyance.

Game supports NFTs, company is a joke. The little respect I had for this company is gone. Do not buy this game for full price if you do plan on buying it. Don't buy Pinhead.
This game is horribly optimized, poorly balanced, and in general, frustrating because of the amount of bugs, and horribly designed abilities and mediocre maps. It's also extremely addictive, but it's getting to a point where I am often wanting to stop playing this game all together, and never buying anything from BHVR again. The amount of enjoyment of this game will vary, but after this much time I've put into the game, your matches will likely be for every 1 match that is fun and enjoyable, you will have 4 meh, and 5 horrible matches. This goes for either side.

If you do buy this game, only buy the base and maybe a licensed DLC, don't buy any of the originals, just grind for them. At the moment those are: Doctor, Hag, Clown, Spirit, Legion, Plague, Oni, Deathslinger, Blight, Twins, and Trickster for the killers, Ace Visconti, Feng Min, Kate Denson, Adam Francis, Jeff Johansen, Jane Romero, Yui Kimura, Zarina Kassir, Felix Richter, Elodie Rakoto, and Yun-Jin Lee . The characters who must be bought with real life currency are: Myers and Laurie Strode from the Halloween, Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Freddy Krueger and Quentin Smith from Nightmare on Elm Street, The Pig (with Jigsaw boxes) and Detective David Tapp from the Jigsaw series, Ghostface from Scream, Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, and the Demogorgon from Stranger Things, Ash Williams from Evil Dead, Cheryl "Heather" and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill, Leon, Jill, and Nemesis from Resident Evil.
But, all of these characters are fun. I only suggest buying the licensed stuff so you don't get entirely overwhelmed with the characters and perk options. My personal suggestion for DLC to buy would be the Stranger Things DLC, as Demogorgon is a fun killer, and Nancy has some amazing perks, and Steve is cool (but has very underwhelming perks), and for a non-licensed DLC I would suggest A Binding of Kin with Twins and Elodie. Elodie has 3 very fun perks, and Twins is one of my favorite killers in the game, but I don't think they are very beginner friendly and their perks aren't as spectacular, but I think overall they are very fun.
And if you are going to play a lot more of the killer, I strongly suggest getting Leatherface. Not only is he a fun killer to play, he has a perk which can effectively double your points after every match.
So for DLCs to buy: Stranger Things, Halloween, Ghost Face, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nightmare on Elm Street, Resident Evil, Saw, and Resident Evil, Ash vs Evil Dead. Buy those, but avoid buying: Of Flesh and Mud, Spark of Madness, Curtain Call, Shattered Bloodline, Darkness Among Us, Demise of the Faithful, Cursed Legacy, Chains of Hate, Descend Beyond, a Binding of Kin, and All-Kill, which are all able to unlock the contents of by playing the game enough. And also avoid: The 80's Suitcase, Bloodstained Sack, Headcase, Charity Case, as in general, there are better cosmetics that are available for free, and they are only for the original few survivors and killers. Avoid spending money on Auric Cells (used for in game cosmetic shop) if you want, a majority of the items feel way overpriced.

Was a fun little game, where most of your choices can lead to a different ending, even if the narrator tells you it doesn't. You can either follow the rules, or you can lock yourself in a broomcloset like I did.

How to fail in this game:
Shoot a lethal weapon.
How to win in this game:
Extract everyone and everything.
How to mess around in this game:
Fight snipers with tanks, and tanks with snipers. Shoot a chopper down with an Assault Rifle, extract animals, Invade Dark Souls style, get wrecked by the guy you invaded (or his army, or any supporters), create nukes, steal nukes, and hide in a cardboard box.
Recommend also playing MGSV: Ground Zeroes, and unlock yourself Solid Snake skin. Enjoy glorious HD Cutscenes as Playstation 1 graphic Solid Snake.
