Do not recommend for new players as the 'new player experience' is shockingly bad.
The grind and number of hours you'd be expected to put in to achieve a *single* high tier vehicle is in the hundreds.
Achieving even mid tier vehicles without spending money on premium time or a premium vehicle is arduous and WT will suck your wallet dry.
The economy is predatory and an example of a system that was never designed to go as long & wide as the current one and has been overwhelmed by power creep with increasingly greedy developers.
Not being able to cover costs such as repair/rearm your vehicles even at low/mid tiers even in games where you have dominated and scored thousands of points, feeds into the predatory economics that WT has slowly implemented over the years. All the while silently removing gains that the player used to enjoy such as receiving points for even being near an enemy player.
This is not a free to play title. not anymore. It has become a game where only whales can progress, fuelling the greed of a development team who no longer act in a way that respects or rewards its player base.
I really like WT and i hate the way it has become a twisted parody of itself which is why i am writing this review.

Early Access Review
I accidentally summoned a Revenant with an Ouiji Board in the basement of a house which immediately started to hunt me down and killed me as I was attempting to flee screaming "Oh god oh ♥♥♥♥ oh god oh ♥♥♥♥". After a quick trip to the laundry basket, I was back in the same house to hunt down a new ghost.
Highly recommend.

Ever wanted to crawl around inside a vent to eat a scientist while they are on the toilet? Now you can!

Perfectly itches the urge play as John Carpenter's 'The Thing' by going around eating scientists and guards with a satisfying crunch. Absorbing other experiments grants you different utilities which double as a new way to watch the next scientist die painfully before eating them. Or if you don't like the sight and smell of blood, grabbing people and slamming them into the nearest available wall does the trick too. Better yet just let them fight each other while you watch by possessing a guard with a gun and watch as he mows down his former friends.

Pros:
- Pretty pixel art
- Satisfying sound effects
- Decent music
- Clever puzzle design
- Fun ways to kill people
- scratches the inner psycopath

Cons:
- A bit short (6 hrs roughly)
- Limited replay ability
- Strange dream sequence early on
- Aside from 'escape' not much to keep the gaming moving forward plot wise
- No map
