You legit can't play cs:go or its community servers anymore. Why tf did valve take away that as an option instead of just making CS2 a separate game. CS:GO has effectively just been erased from steam for no reason

You can get one of the best puzzle games for $3. If you like minesweeper you have no reason to not get this

Early Access Review
Tentatively I recommend this game. It currently doesn't have much content and really could use more to justify it's price. As well it has a few balance issues with encounters.

The Dev is actively working on the game and listening to the community and rebalancing things all the time though. Even with the lack of content I got plenty of hours from the game and the balancing has been updated in the most recent patch and is much better. So for sure this game will justify it's price in the future or if you jump in now and just get the content as it comes

Too much unavoidable damage, as well if you just don't get multiples of your units to level up then you just get screwed over.

Game will literally just spawn enemies on top of you, and if you manage to dodge them at first then one of the special enemies are guaranteed to hit you for the dodge you pulled to get out the way. It's literally a game of "Can I get a build where I kill the enemy before they kill me."

Everyone is complaining about balance changes for no reason. The changes are good because they encourage more varied play. Isaac got stale for me because I was constantly taking the same OP items over and over just cause I knew I could win with them. So I welcomed these changes which made the game harder through nerfing items that were too good.

Also it's called HARD mode, it's supposed to be HARD. Literally half these idiots giving it negative reviews because it got harder and became balanced just need to swallow their pride and go to normal. I did it and I'm loving the game. This DLC has so much love, care, and polish in it. Easily the best Isaac has been in ages and these piss babies are crying cause they can't just win based on getting one item alone.

The game is rough around the edges. The lack of a save feature, short length, clipping issues, and sections where it's hard to see where you're going. But despite that the narrative saves the game. As a walking simulator the story is the most important part so long as its still playable. The story is told in parts and you can chose which part to go to first. Each is filled with character and has a very different feel to it, but it creates a compelling narrative no matter what order you go in.
The narrative is quite heavy so if you're not interested in something with a clearly high amount of emotion thrown into it then the story may not be for you. But without saying too much it gets intense and gives the player something to think about. What the game lacks in it's worlds and shallow gameplay it makes up for in how meaty the narrative's themes are.

I like what they were going for, but overall the level design feels clunky and often times unfair. I would be playing and often get into situations where I will take a hit no matter what, an enemy was behind me and shot me before I could even know, or even just they shot me nearly instantly as they spawned in. This happened in the original as well but wasn't too much of an issue because it just meant redoing the level and some trial and error was expected. However in this game it means that you may have to redo up to 6 or so levels. Where each can have a length as long as a single level in the original. It ends up being not really fun to play due to how frustrating it can be to lose a good run just because you didn't even know an enemy was there.
