the movement in the game can be tweakin at some points and annoy the piss out of you but once you actually know what you're doing and get around the janky controls its honestly pretty good

the campaign story is pretty basic af and honestly ain't anything much to write about but still had fun with it and the story doesn't distract you much from the main gameplay of doing like 50 flips in the air and blow out a guys nuts with a shotgun revolver so its fine
the firefight mode is where it's really at and may be one of the reasons i will keep playing the game (+ the workshop content)

As for where the game is at currently, it is heavily unfinished. A lot of things do need to be changed, added and fixed (like actually having main menu music and sound effects etc). So please expect not a lot of content to be included in this early version of the game. However, if you don't care and want to enjoy the game while giving the devs some feedback, then buy this game right now.

So yeah this game is made as an inspiration to Super Monkey Ball, but mainly the original SMB1&2, and the fact that they managed to nearly mimic the physics from the game is amazing. This makes it a game that any SMB enjoyer could easily transition into. I mean what do you expect when the devs are people that worked on SMB mods?

Speaking of SMB mods, a lot of the stages here are also from SMB mods like Monkeyed Ball 2, and they are both fun and challenging to play. I never gotten around to playing the mods so being able to play some of the levels in this game were convenient to me.

I'm hoping that the devs do add in some hype-ass music for the different worlds, add some funky UI animations and a replay of your run. But i'm pretty sure those things are to be worked on later as they aren't anything major to focus on.

So to conclude, for now, this game has potential. I hope that in a couple of months, or a year time, this game becomes something amazing. So for now, i'm gonna recommend this game, despite where it's at and i'll probably update the review in the coming future.
