ive got to say im fairly impressed with this game.
i only got wind of this game last year (2016) and it's relatively cheap so i thought "Eh why not"

i was surprised to get interesting lore right off the bat, not too much but enough to get me interested in the world. and the gameplay is TIGHT! fully responsive and you really feel the fight.

i wont waste anymore time and just do a lightning round of pros and cons

Cons:
need better character models and more character creation options
needs better wandering music and more music options
thief/ranger class needs an overhaul or buff its almost impossible to play
cant jump (Dangit!)
its hard to fully immerse yourself into the world
no real memorable npcs or villains other than the main boss
some side quests and one of the factions missions are kind of repetetive

Pros:
combat is the most fun ive had in a LONG time
choose what class you want to be at ANY time (magic swordsman? sneaky mage? all of the above? you can do that!)
passives are very important and augment your gameplay more than you know
the Fate shift- you want to smash your enemies face in with a hammer of pure ether? go for it
All armors and weapons look good and you can forge and name your own
exploring can net you more xp and LOOT
A LOT of stuff to do, many areas aren't apart of the main quest so exploring leads to new stuff
lore is there if yo uwant to read it, similar to skyrim

All in all a great use of 20-30 hours with satisfying gameplay/cutscenes/exploration. This is one of the best RPG's on the market

Need to do:
PLAY the first game and make your decisions. You wanna go fast? Cheat and get the best guns and armor, it dont matter to me, or the game.

Pros:
-best characters
-nice voicework
-good cutscenes
-solid gameplay
-good replayability with different classes and 2 endings
-mooar relationships!

Cons:
- some paragon and renagade options are locked for pretty much all renegade or all paragon
-trying to find the next weapon powerups is difficult if you dont comb all the levels
-freaking scanning for resources(and the fact you dont get an advanced scanner until late game)


Overall:
one of if not THE best sci rpg franchises ever done, to get the FULL experience you need to play the first game, luckily enough its easy to just call up the best weapons and armor in the game so you can fully enjoy the story which is still good.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this is some fast paced, high adrenaline, addictive game. oh man if there was a multiplayer i dont think i could handle it,

like the game says, this isnt a rhythm game and DO NOT BUTTON MASH!

it takes precision and a level head to keep up, and since the speed of your enemies gets faster the better you are, steel your heart, calm your mind, and deliver that death punch

if you essentially want to be Samurai Jack, PLAY THIS GAME! the animation and art style is gorgeous, the characters are hilarious and just fun to watch. the plot and characters woven into it is told like a wonderful legend that you want to hear again and again. For a truly satisfying experience i suggest playing it on hard mode even for your first time so that when you come out of any battle, you know it is because you are that good

this is a thrill fest that will make you think about everything, every action you have can either save or kill you in the end, chose wisely and think fast!
