Old but still new, this game is now even better than the 1999 and 2013 versions combined, presenting totally new graphics for the current generation (as 23rd November, 2019) and having such a great community that still keeps the game alive and very popular among those categorized as RTS.
There are no words for some innovations brought by the developers to this version, such as tools that makes the matches flows in a more dynamic way (ex.: having a waiting queue for the technologies in the Blacksmith), which makes the experience even more forceful. Also, it's incredible how they bring in every major version update new civilizations and its unique units and team bonuses. This time we are able to play as Bulgarians, Cumans, Lithuanians and Tartars.
Besides all of that, some new campaigns and totally fresh Achievements were added up to the game, bringing the player the possibility to be set in real historical battles and political events, as well to seek to complete the game 100%.
In a vast number of regions and countries, this version got dubbed and translated to its local language, making it easier to understand to some people that doesn't have English as its first language.

I'm definitely looking forward to play Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition for much more time and being able to recommend it to the fans of RTS genre!
