When I was 14 years old, I backed the only project I ultimately would ever support on Kickstarter, announced by a small Czech studio with nothing but a dream:
In a market deeply saturated with (medieval) fantasy games, there could be an audience for an authentic medieval RPG experience.

After four years of promising Alpha and Beta stages as well as a heap of profound update posts, Kingdom Come: Deliverance was finally released.
It wasn't perfect, as bugs and some missing QoL features - sometimes dubbed "euro-jank" - were relatively omnipresent, but several patches and some great DLC content later, the game turned out to be one of the best RPGs of all time and one of my absolute favorites.

If you are ever so slightly interested in medieval culture, interesting quests or even only Bohemian forestry, don't hesitate. Just play this masterpiece!
