Ok so i would like to first point out that the game itself is broken, i know the game is in early acces but the tutorial and the game mechanics are totally broken and it'd like to explain why. First of all, colonist consume wayyyyyy too much water and food soo much that even after completing the bit in the tutorial that makes it so you should be good on food and water for the rest of the tutorial everybody started dying in my colony. Oh and if that wasn't enough already, even when all the possible professions for food and water are filled to the maximum, everybody continued to die from starvation and thirst. But the absoulte worst of all are the droughts. They make water completly dissapear from the map for a period of time and of course your most valuable source of food is fishing so now it's gone and most of your colonists will die again from starvation and thirst. Note that all of this happened in 78 minutes into the tutorial. I have a lot of experience with colony management games and im not familiar with the concept of dying in the tutorial. At the moment, the game just looks like a worst version of Banished. The only thing i liked about the game was the graphics and the concept of the game. I also feel like the game should have people attacking your colony like bandits or something. But for all of that to happen the developpers need to fix the food/water system. Jesus even when my food and water reserve was fine colonists still died trying to stockpile food and water in their house. Also note that every building was close to each other so the issue isn't me placing the building too far away from eachother.

So in conclusion, i do not recommend the game yet until it gets out of early acces, i am also getting a refund, the tutorial already showed me most of the fun stuff that i could accomplish in the game, (it's way too long)

Hopefully this help whoever is thinking about bying the game.

Despite the rough debut of DayZ, i think it's now safe to say the game is now a lot better in terms of bugs and gameplay with the help of the new engine. DayZ is the kind of game where we can clearly see the limits of the human mind. Whenever you find somebody it is always the game of kill or be killed, in some instances it will happen later on. In one of many lifes i was a bandit feeding rotten fruits and gas in a canteen to people that happened to pass by me, in another one i was a guy in a ghilie suit sniping bandits. In one of my stories, i happened to pass by a person that didn't want to put their hands up and tried to attack me with his fist, unfortunatly for him he was gunned down... Later on, i passed buy another folk who was named Mark and he happened to be friendly. I bonded with Mark for about 2 hours he seemed really cool. When i had a feeling that i could trust him i gave him my handgun with some ammo. Not too long later, i told Mark that i gunned down somebody that tried to attack me, he reacted by saying very interesting when i told him that. A few minutes later i asked him to give me his discord so we could communicate better, and when i appeared to have stopped moving he said -Hey i was that guy that you shot earlier and THIS IS HOW YOU PLAY DAYZ ♥♥♥♥♥. he then started to shoot me with the handgun i gave him but unfortunatly for him, i was quick to realize that he wanted to kill me, so i took my SKS out and gunned him down again... This goes to show how far somebody will go in this game to get revenge.

In conclusion, i think the game has a lot of potential and that it's totally worth purshasing for the many funny stories that will happen to you, despite the few major bugs that remain within the game.

This game is insanely good, it never ends and there's always something to do. I highly recommend it !!
