My team consists of a small child somehow fencing the entire enemy team to death, 3 slicing maniacs turning enemies into swiss cheese, and a pirate with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Gun

Early Access Review
I don't even consider myself someone who likes this game that much but it absolutely deserves the praise

Out of all the games that feel like random sparks, eg. Among Us in 2020, I think Lethal is one of the most fun and genius, basically a direct crack pipe of funny moments and sillies directly to your bloodstream even if you "know what you're doing", which, I sure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ don't. It's just a hilarious game.

Short but lovely experience, I haven't finished it yet but I am loving every second of gameplay so far
Also I'm like a huge goat fan. So cute goat buddies, let alone emo ones?! Sign me the hell up

I will let you read other reviews that can describe and review the game better
And just leave you with the fact that after playing every FPS imaginable, everything from Quake and Doom 2 ('94) to CSGO and Valorant to TF2 and Titanfall, to Apex and COD, I have never actually wanted to learn how to aim, and never needed to, but Hunt is niche and weird enough that it somehow broke that curse and made me actually want to learn how to aim and get good
After playing hunt for a few hundred hours, I am genuinely a better aimer with the ability to predict shots and generally just hit headshots

It's not for everyone put simply but if you can push past the difficulty curve of the game you'll find a game with some interesting, and funky movement tech, a beautiful, intricately detailed world, and many stories to explore, through what I consider to be pretty good environmental storytelling.
Also the replayability is pretty good.

if extraction based games were a spectrum based on time invested and match time and just... how much you do outside of game, deceive would be right on the easy to get into side. which is awesome.
between 3 games, i think you have a good spectrum.
deceive is easy to play and get into, with the same extraction elements and a new spy stealth element.
hunt showdown is similar, but matches take longer and gunfights are clunkier due to the setting, which is good in its own right.
and meanwhile, tarkov takes forever to set up and loot, has a ton to do outside of game, and also... i think costs the most out of the bunch.
all i can say is that deceive is the easiest to get into and play out of these, and it's criminal how little players it has, even after it's population bump - the game is amazing and i hope it continues to get supported. there is a nice size pool of characters to start, and i think if they add more maps and keep up balancing and listening to the community (which it seems they are pretty actively listening), this game has a bright future
