Real shame that this game is shutting down... for how far it's become... I enjoy what it is now alot more than what it used to be when it first released... sad to see this go...

A fun and unique take on fighting games that introduce a number of indie characters that you may know or love/learn more about and their games. Each character's fighting style being based off of how they played in their respective games all work to create a unique fighting style along with the constant jumping. The store offers a number of content such as more characters to play as and more stages with coins that are earned from just playing games, there is also a trophy collectible like system that allows you to gather characters from an even wider variety of games that give you a description of what they are and what game they are from. The Arcade mode is fun but does start to feel repetitive the more you play it as the order of fighters are always the same (as of my last play with it) but is a neat side thing to do. The main point of this game is to play with other players online as that is were the main experience is, where fights can be unique each time with people who play differently. Aside from that there is also a challenge mode, each character has their own challenge with unique requirements, not much is gained from here but just beating scores.
Overall I enjoy this game and hope to see more done with it with the future it has.

This game was quite the experience for me, Everything being confusing at first, but as you progress you aquire new paths by picking up a "Cube Gun". There will be alot of backtracking, but figuring out your way through the various puzzles and mind bending paths is satisfying. Not to mention the variety of Signs dotted around the game that could open your mind into ways you can get around in life, it made me think about my life and how I could achieve my goals through different methods that I could never think of my self.

If you have motion sickness, I hear that this game will trigger it, so do proceed with caution.

I have a very difficult love/hat relationship with this game.

On one hand the game is super fun for both sides of gameplay with many different tools to change the way you play to help reduce the feel of reptitiveness

On the other hand.... the community... the community is a mixed bag and usually it's the sour beans that tend to be the most noticeable which ofcourse shapes how others approach this game and that can lead to some bad side effects.

I love all the licensed characters being brought here and i look forward to what else this game brings to the table. However instead of focusing on making the game fun, they seem more focused on just shoving out content.

In the end I always seem to find my self coming back to the game in bursts and that's ok, clearly i enjoy the game to some capacity.

First off I want to say... This is one of the best games i've played in ages:
Interesting story line
Amazing Music
Incredible characters and their designs
A very interesting and unique Attack system where you controll a heart avoiding projectiles and given the option to spare monsters, or murder them!
Amazing Bosses
The only thing I have down about this is that I wish it was longer, other than that it's amazing!
Buy it now, you won't regret it if you like pixlated RPGs

I recommend playing this without knowing much of what's in the game at all as it will spoil the suprises!

Just a calm little time waster or a replacement lava lamp to leave open in the background and admire, simple but creative.

After having this game for a while (and only played for 6 hours for some reason) I'd say that this game is one of a kind, with satisfying controlls, physics and platforming, The levels are different depending on which mode you're playing (solo and coop wise) which makes this game different everytime. Not to mention the competetive mode where you can play in a group of 4 people in different gamemodes on different maps. My personal favourite gamemode is the one where you have to paint more blocks than the other team to win. So yeah, I recommend this!
