Probably my favorite game of all time, I had it on the Xbox 360 before I came to PC and it's been a blast since 2012. It's aged incredibly well.

It's a pretty fun medieval brawler with an insanely high skill cap, I definitely recommend

This is my analysis of Batman:Arkham Knight's playability on 8/23/15
I do not intend to damage control for Iron Galaxy, NVIDIA, or WB. I only want to offer my input and share my experience.

I did disable the 30 fps cap on the game prior to my playthrough.

I finally beat it. It was a hell of a ride

Performance
During combat the game was running at 45-60 fps (not to say that is acceptable by any means). When I was gliding around the city, or in the batmobile, the game was at a steady 30 fps (although the game NEVER dropped below 30 fps). I got one crash and that was it. There was no stuttering what so ever. All in all the performance was pretty terrible. Especially when compared to any other game. I am usually very picky with framerates, I am the type who will sacrafice graphics for a good framerate. But I was able to stand it (somehow). It may have been that I was using a controller and I sat further away from the monitor. It may just be that there was extremely good frame timing.

Story
You may have heard that the identity of the Arkham Knight is predictable. But I would disagree (unless you are a huge Batman fan). Personally, it cought me off gaurd. The story is filled with unexpected turns and there were some great writers involved. The dialogue is great and occasionally witty, nothing seems out of place for a specific character. The story is what kept me playing because it was so entertaining and I was genuinely curious as to what would happen next.

Gameplay
It's an Arkham game. The combat has gone from top-notch to breaking the scale. The predator mode is mostly unchanged until the later game, but like the combat, it only gets better. The batmobile. What to say about the batmobile? When used as a tool for getting around the city, it's fun. But in combat it gets old pretty fast. But I did like it more that I initally thought I would (which was not at all).

Conclusion
I bought this game on ♥♥♥ for $12 simply so that I would have it when it was patched. I decided to try it just to see how bad of a port it was, and I got addicted. While it was apparently predictable, I enjoyed it. The batmobile feels unnecessary but it doesn't make anything else worse. At times it can even be fun. The one thing in this game that really got to me (other than the framerate) was Bruce Wayne's abundance of money ( I know that in Arkham city, he says that he is a billionare). He just seems to have so much that it's a wonder that he has to solve his problems himself instead of buying some sort of super robot to do it for him. I reccomend this game because I assume that it will be patched once it is sold on Steam again. All in all, I would say this is one of those games that you just don't want to miss. And if you do miss it an get it spoiled, you'll regret not playing it and experiencing it in it's cinimatic glory.
