While the story lacks the intrigue of the first, I greatly enjoyed my return to the Horizon world. The gameplay is still fantastic and a bit more strategic than the first game, making those sweet combos perhaps feel more satisfying to pull off. The game looks fantastic, with some beautiful vistas overlooking a renewed post-apocalyptic landscape. On the technical side, this port is astronomically better than the state that the first game was in when it first came out. I'm looking forward to how Guerilla continues Aloy's story in the next game!

I adore the feeling of being able to walk around and constantly find puzzles EVERYWHERE. It's great! The only real thing I am concerned about is the always online nature of the game; it would be cool to also have an offline mode in-case there are server-side issues, etc. since the online aspects, from a players perspective, are practically all social and don't impact the game play, in my experience. Would recommend if you are a fan of games like the Witness and the Talos Principle, easily.

At this point in time, I love everything about the actual game itself. It is 100% a fantastic experience even with random players, which I find is pretty rare with these kinds of Co-op games. HOWEVER, buyer beware, there is kernel-level anti-cheat that has had issues in the past. I implore the devs to look into getting a more reputable anti-cheat. If the anti-cheat isn't a concern of yours; and from my research, it doesn't seem to be causing too many problems in the other games it's used in or for people's computers anymore, I would HIGHLY recommend.

By far one of the best RPGs I've ever had the pleasure of playing in the legendary Dungeons and Dragons setting. An example for other developers to learn from.

Very fun with friends; get to play some classics from school and such.

Honestly, went in expecting the typical JRPG with excessive grinding and generic filler story but was pleasantly surprised with how good the story and combat are. Definitely worth your time if you are an avid fan of these types of games.

One of my favorite strategy games ever made. Even though I'm not the best at it, the role play potential on top of the sci-fi setting both add a great deal of enjoyment that no other game I can think of.
