The less you know about the game going into it the better.
just buy it.

Unless you've been playing another MOBA for 12 years you ruin everyone's fun by trying to play the game.
community is too unfriendly to new players. but if you dont mind playing against bots for the entire time then you're good to go!

(at the original time of writing the review I was frustrated beyond all hell that I was just getting hate for trying to play the game) This edit comes around 2 years after original posting.

I've since played the game significantly more and while its still true the game is unfriendly to new players, just trying to have fun above all else in game is a much better experience. I still wont recommend it to anyone who might not enjoy the occasional hate when you're just starting out. but if you're at the point where you can reasonably avoid getting hate in most games its really quite fun.

Would not recomend. Microtransaction ridden, pay to win game.
Robocraft's aspect of building your ship to go into battle is intresting and apealing. However, the way you get materials to build better ships is just either pure luck by the random drops you get from crates at the end of every round, or by buying them for recycling the equipment you recive from the crates anyways. you can buy the crates on the store for even more random chance TL:DR, Farm for RNG items, or buy "fancier" RNG items.

Its alright.
